One of the MANY lines that are in my daily rotation is: — when he's in the convertible with the kid and the kid asks "Are you a cop?" Fletch answers "As far as you know." — you don't know how many people ask me a simple 'yes or no' and that's what flies out of my mouth. "As far as you know."

"Deal of the Century" was Chevy's best and most world relevant work before drones even became a thing!

“It’s all ball barring now” is one of the best lines.

As a Utahn, my favorite line is Utah isn’t exactly a cure for boredom. I don’t know if that is correct, but that’s the gist. 😊

I think we should settle the debate. At the tennis club, does he get one steak sandwich or two?

Maybe my favorite line isn't even in Fletch but in Fletch Lives. It is when the woman who shows him Bell Isle is dead the next morning and Hal Holbrook asks, "had she been feeling alright?" Fletch responds, "She felt great to me."

He is too old now but the only other guy I can imagine being Fletch is Vince Vaughn.

When I was in college even ten years later in the mid 90s this was a staple in the rotation at the house. 3 guys and I rented a house near campus and watched Fletch all the time.

There's a movie I hadn't seen in a very long time!!! My favorite disguise is when he acts like he's playing for the Lakers and he wears that afro wig, LOL. Speaking of 80's Movies, one of the local theaters in Cincy's having a 40th Anniversary Showing of some of the successful 1984 Movies, and one of them is Beverly Hills Cop's one of them, along with Ghostbusters, Police Academy, Footloose, etc.

HARD To beat a Chevy chase comedy movie. Have you all ever seen the movie Funny Farm? A movie he did in 1988, it's a riot if you haven't seen it.
