Tom Bilyeu | March 1, 2026

Why is change so hard? If it was easy everyone would be doing it and maybe the world would be a much better place. But, those of us with the best of intentions and the grandest of goals struggle with knowing who we are and connecting where we are with the distant reality of who we want to become. Can you relate? Changing your identity demands much more than most are willing to push through. The discipline, the self-awareness, the relentless pursuit of self-control and the skill it takes to adopt an identity worth pursuing are challenges and obstacles, but none of it translates to being impossible. Tom is unpacking the power of identity. Its power to change the course of your life and put you in higher situations and opportunities to succeed like you’ve never imagined. Get ready to take notes and do some reflecting. If you are serious about changing your life around and executing at the highest level it’s going to require work, and it starts right now! Let’s GO!

I love Tom Bilyeu! I am a massive follower. This is the first time I have ever recognized when Tom was talking about something he had no clue what he was talking about. I have been a health & fitness & nutrition enthusiast since I was five years old and a professional my entire adult life. Basically everything he said about bulking, cutting, losing weight, getting lean was half right and half wrong.

Food for thought Bilyeu: Your net worth was generated from selling useless/harmful good-tasting protein bars (as far as I know). Does it reflect real value provided to people? — The same can be said of ~60 % of industries. They provide nothing, yet accumulate money due to ignorance and low-standards. People are dumb and that makes it easy to generate capital (it’s even favourable for capitalists to keep the market that way). It is such an irony — if it weren’t a tragedy for the people that actually want to live healthily and improve. People who take themselves seriously would never eat 99 % of supplements and fitness products on the market. My point is: many people are rich, but they don’t have any actual value to their name.

I think Nietzsche is right in saying the market needs heavier regulation from ‘independent’ experts. He proclaims: ‘Let the stamp of expertise decide whether a product is high-quality or not’ — not its packaging nor sales-tactics.

Thanks Tom – So grateful for your message, it inspires action in me, which is why I joined ITU. – I particularly love the part about remaining consistent with who your identity: if you still have ATP (aka alive), you will do whatever is necessary to remain congruent with that identity. – Thanks for helping me take my life to the next level!

Nothing expoused is at all healthy.
It's okay if you're sick to take the time off.
Anything else is toxic behavior from our society. Especially hustle culture.
You choose to work when you can take time off, the mcd worker don't have a choice or they get evicted or go hungry.
    #toxicadvice.

The market has been pretty bad until today it decided to surge. Everybody was practically crying then. It kept dipping. That's what you get when you feel you can navigate the process on your own. Big thanks to Mrs Stella. I'm not bothered with how bad the market is because my assests are insured due to her advice and I still receive my profits.

It's healthy to push your limits until you have a good idea of who you are and what you want. But to keep pushing after that, just to please others or to do what you think others expect of you, that type of striving will not lead to excellence. It leads to suffering and living a lie.

If you've honestly faced your fears and grown and grown comfortable in your skin, you may feel ok slowing down and just living a comfortable life. That's perfectly fine. But you still need to put in work to get to that point.

I think you're lucky mixed with a lil hard work which lead you to a life where u can manage your finances by making phone calls and being creative and doing whatever u want.

I thinnk you are privileged and I think you skip that reality when offering your imaginary world to everyone.

Tom, you are an amazing being. I see that many criticize you for your language but I see this not as your limitation but that of language itself. Power and passion are not easily conveyed. Beethoven could express his absolute power through music and exquisite chords but how do we do that with language? I see how Goggins and yourself try to express the power and truth behind what you’ve discovered. The immense freedom one feels when we tap into that power is so hard to relay to others that one naturally starts using foul language. I do not know why culture reserved the expression of powerful emotions to words as “fuck” but they truly come the closest to what one feels when empowered and liberated.

You are a power house and I’m thankful to what you do to help others see that human potential is perhaps unlimited.
