looking for my airport crush that was at punta gorda Fl airport yesterday on 7/20/2024 you were gate 1 and 2 i was gate 3 your flight took off a litte before mine, mine was at 8:00 am yours was prolly at 7:40 am . we locked eyes the whole time but I never asked you for your socials i was in a black vans t shirt grey pants dark hair and panda dunks. This just happened to me (but at a hotel elevator instead) and I just knew you had a video about this.
This beautiful girl was crying and chugging down a beer bottle and said “bye” with the most “I’m pretending to be fine” tone ever. I’m not even “in love” as much as I’m curious.

Thing is people become more comfortable instantly when they experience a scary situation together. Maybe youre scared of flying and because this person is also here it makes you instantly drawn to them.

Not airport but literally the night before my flight back home, i met a lovely stranger in a major european city and we…spent 6 hours together talking…it was so sad to end it, we exchanged emails but neither of has written yet. I am gutted..

I move around a lot, so I feel this phenomenon in a slightly more elongated fashion with most of the people I've met in the last five years. Friends and lovers alike, when you know you'll only spend one year in a city you learn how to dive in headfirst while holding that tension of a clear expiration date. This video resonated so much because it feels like most of my relationships are "strangers at the airport".

On a random note… I found a copy of the Plague at my library yesterday and started reading a few pages. I've started it before but never finished. I'm only a shortways in so I can't really say anything witty or insightful about save the fact that Camus had a gift for atmosphere in some rather unintrusive ways. Like everything contributes to everything if you lay the details right. Like nothing is ever wasted or superfluous if one is truly paying attention… At any rate, I'm also reading this thing Elsewhere, California that I also found yesterday at the same library and I've never heard of it before or don't remember hearing about it if I did. So I'm reading two novels simultaneously. I've managed as much with t.v. shows, YouTube channels and larger subjects than those before, but wish me luck anyway. Cheers.

Sometimes people just walk into your life like a lightning bolt. Brilliant, awe-inspiring, and then gone in the blink of an eye. And you just have to accept that they’ll probably stay a memory to you. But better to remember the wonder than to have never experienced it at all.

From 0:10 to 0:33 you can completely understand Nietzche's critique of religion. I love this. Placing the importance on the destination (heaven) makes the airport feel meaningless (real life).

i fell in love with this guy at the airport. He is soo fine and he was soooooo tall and i am 5,8 and every guy where i live is like 5,6. I talked to him like one time but i forgot to ask for his name. He sat right behind me the whole flight and he kept on looking at me i was so nervous.His eyes are so beautiful. He towered over me and his voice was sooo deep ugh. He was like soo perfect, him and his friends looked like supermodels. But he stood out to me.I felt a connection and like i known him before. I think about him 24/7 and i would do anything to meet him again. He lives in stratsborough france. i hope we will meet again.
