Extreme Loss of Pressure Tears You Apart | Last Moments
This incident at sea shows us how uncontrolled decompression can occur, and what it can do to you.
“Uncontrolled decompression is an unplanned drop in the pressure of a sealed system, such as an aircraft cabin or hyperbaric chamber, and typically results from human error, material fatigue, engineering failure, or impact, causing a pressure vessel to vent into its lower-pressure surroundings or fail to pressurize at all.”

Here's some great footage of divers operating a diving bell – I highly recommend it, very interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DdJc_P_PPk&ab_channel=TheStoreboe

Pretty sure everyone who died during this event died faster than they would have been able to form a thought.

I recently watched another video on this same accident. One of the things pointed out was that for the guys in the chamber who were not transformed into aerosol spray, they would have effectively been turned into human Cheetos. The gasses dissolved in their blood and other fluids would have foamed up like diet Coke with a Mentos in it.

Ummm, actually it was found that the cause was faulty equipment and nothing went through their minds it happens so quick , no thoughts, no pain….

The craziest part is yes itβs internal organs were sucked out of his body, but he wasnβt done yet. His body was folded in half backwards instead of forwards, like usual and launched through the hole.

The trama was explosive, but what really happened? I think that basically all their organs a tissue from , ears, nose, mouth, lungs, eye socket and asshole were violently sucked out! And the rest of the body was red and purple from blood vessels being sucked out. Like a hickey on the neck, but much more violently…

They worked the guys 18hr days, I work offshore with subsea robotic systems, the minisubs with arms and cameras on them, and they do this to save money, the company cheaps out doesn't hire enough guys for a 24hr operation and needs to keep the guys working beyond the 12hrs normal, it's brutal but thats what these companies are like, these days I just refuse to go past 12hrs stuff them.

My dad used to tell us the same joke, every time we went on a road trip… "What's the last thing to go thru a bug's mind, before they hit the windshield? Their a$@hole!." Then he'd laugh at himself, as though he'd just thought it up.

I hate how they use Crammond as a scapegoat just because he died and can't answer for himself, and the fact these companies continue to cjt corners and over stress divers. They should be held fully accountable!! They are the human error!!

I once saw a video of a crab sucked through a hole in an underwater pipe about the size of a grain of rice, about 1/30 the size of the crab at best.
First of all, yikes.
Second of all, I can't imagine how that would feel and I don't want to.
And lastly, πΊπͺπ¬π¦π΄ again, but in Italics.
