Sign up for incogni and give immediate access to your data to a pro-israel company under the guise of protecting your data. Surely nothing can go wrong!

The author of the Patriot Act is a liar, then, because even 11 year old me knew I was reading the first step in the Nazi Party's success. He was either lying to everyone else, or himself.

We used to have freedom and privacy as well as protection for those. Now we have Palentir mass surveillance and flock safety violating our 4th amendment as if it's ok it isn't! They won't even tell the truth on 9-11! This is all cia created. Google now offers this data service removal similar to incogni but no change at least I use it on my android phone.

14:36 I also think that the average person who spends a lot of time on the internet views SO many ads a day that we are very capable of only selectively noticing the 10% of ads that might be relevant to us and real life conversations we have. We probably mentally block out so many ads a day it's crazy.

15:05 where he says "The devices are not listening to you" is a wild thing to say after Apple settled a lawsuit where Siri was secretly listening to people through their phones and using what it "learned" for marketing purposes.
Look it up. This Laperruque guy doesn't seem very well-educated about the subject of phone surveillance.

We need a Self sovereign digital identity where you own your own data and can choose to selectively disclose what information and with whom.
This is possible and being worked on. Look up:

At this risk of sounding like a tin-foil hat wearing lunatic, I will never believe that my phone isn't listening. I've had far too many ads served to me from topics that I am certain I didn't research or put out into the world beyond speaking out loud. Why would I trust these companies that have come out and said "Oops! Yeah sorry we were actually storing your audio data but we PROMISE we're not doing it now."
@salthurtsmyeyes

But what's the ROI on data
@lumb3rj0e
June 5, 2026 at 7:30 am
To comment on the ski trip example. A lot of advertisers and agencies use multi touch attribution models that track you from when you might visit say a site to a ski trip to your Google searches and subsequent visits. That data is then used to figure out when and where to best place ads.
@darienkinne1347
June 5, 2026 at 7:30 am
The idea that phones aren’t listening all the time is BS. I have had obscure conversations on topics I had not previously looked up online, and immediately after being shown adds related to the subject. It’s SO much more than collecting search histories…

US Intel agencies have been contracting data collection through the private sector for decades. How do you think google started..? They’ve been collecting data and now with the advent of AI, they can sort through it and create comprehensive files. The noose is tightening people, wake up!
@SubjectiveCuriosities
June 5, 2026 at 7:30 am
There are plenty of coincidences in life but im calling bullshit on phones not listening in on audio. Seen non searched stuff pop up on ppls phones way too often. Hum an old song youve never looked up, no need to look it up it will be sugested to you. Those cameras and mics are on dont let them lie to you. I watched israeli college dissertation videos like a decade ago of them showing like 5 different ways to go around a faraday cage. The only safe data is no data.
@demetri2
June 5, 2026 at 7:30 am
yo this came full circle. it was populistically cool when democrats used data against conservatives. But now that Trump in, conservatives are finding it cool to use data against democrats. More people should read or think for themselves. But the world will continue to move in circles.

Haven't they used things like the Roomba or other automated cleaning robots to map out the insides of people's houses? Or other devices like your home WiFi to map out a living space? Or microphone to listen in and webcam to watch? Maybe I am commenting too early in the video or watching too much batman

We need AI identification of the fedthugs who hide their faces. Imagine the terror they'd feel if you held up your phone and started reading the full legal name and address of the fedthug standing in front of you. Delicious.

Flock is not just license plates. That is their friendly marketing image. Flock is a full stack AI surveillance platform. License plates are just one of the myriad of identifying features that it uses to build a profile on all everyday citizens.

Actually, our phone’s not listening to us
I was literally talking about sweet potatoes with my friend
Then I open my phone about 10 minutes later and scroll on Facebook I believe and there you go an ad for sweet potatoes. I never searched up or talked about them in recent times except that day
don’t be fooled everybody

At 16 min mark about devices listening. I am sorry, but there have been MANY instances where I'll have something in my feed pop up that I know for a fact that I didn't research or Google or anything. The devices do listen, and don't let them tell you otherwise.
