We’re Chris W. Smith and Jack De Sena (aka Chris & Jack). We’ve been friends for years and love making high-quality, high-concept sketch comedy. Chris is an occasional Blue Man in Blue Man Group. As a voice actor, Jack played Sokka in Avatar the Last Airbender and Callum in the Dragon Prince. In 2016 we united to create this channel, confusingly titled “Chris & Jack”, which has served as a shared platform to write, produce, direct, edit, and star in our own stuff. We’re releasing comedic sketches of all shapes and sizes. Sci-Fi, Heists, animation, movie tropes, absurdist bits, and plenty of fun new experiments. But above all else, friendship.

A couple nights ago I had a dream where I realized I was dreaming.
What happened in the dreams is I was just, in some random person's house – a single mother with two small children, who was a total stranger. I am a fairly large guy, so in that situation, they SHOULD have been freaked out.
After explaining that, and pointing out a few other inconsistencies, I managed to convince them that it was a dream, Which DID cause them to freak out when they realized they'd stop existing when I woke up.
So with them crying, I asked them their names, promised to remember they existed… and when I woke up, I couldn't remember their names.
Had me pretty screwed up all day.

Man, when I go back to the real world Steve Harvey is going to be so mad I didn't help him save his best friend who got turned to stone. Granted, I was hiding from a citywide outbreak of smoke demons and spontaneously animating vehicles at the time, but you don't just turn your back on someone who invites you to a family cookout!

If you can't remember your dream when you wake up, try closing your eyes as soon as you wake up. It should help you to remember your dream.

I forgot how to sleep for 2 nights.
I couldn't stop thinking about "how" to fall asleep.
Took exhaustion to finally sleep.
Started listening to classical music at bedtime cause I'd try to interpret how it would go next and it distracted me.
Here I am 20 something years later listening to the same audio book for the last few years to sleep.
I honestly hate talking about it cause it worries me I'll do it again.
