I think intelligent aliens would care about how we treat each other. That's every bit as important as 'energy used' to intelligent life that truly understands civilization. Perhaps more important. Quality of life and sustainability over quantity of stuff/money/power?

43:20 44:18 47:55 Illustrate how foolish it is to measure a civilization's advancement by energy harnessing or technology rather than guiding mindsets (and just to note, humanity has never had a good, strong one yet, hence their dilemma, where philosophy, the guiding mindset variety, lags technology (including energy harnessing), since the "why's" driving them are still very weak, if not depraved (due to philosophical weakness). Add 48:16 to the list, since the underlying why's are inadequate, if they even exist. (what should it be? See Broader Survival, which is nowhere in the common human lexicon yet).
