Electric Callboy TANZNEID Review + Albums RANKED

Metal Trenches | August 9, 2026

Electric Callboy have gone from one of the most controversial bands in metalcore to one of the biggest viral success stories in modern heavy music. In this video, I rank every Electric Callboy album from Bury Me In Vegas (2012) through Tanzneid (2026), covering their evolution from the outrageous Eskimo Callboy era to the polished, dance-metal anthems that made them a household name.

Ah that classic German sense of humour. There's a reason their nation is considered on the cutting edge of comedy. 10/10 this entire discography.

S**t, that's right, sarcasm is the lowest form of humour.

Band sucks. They've always sucked. They continue to suck. Painfully cheesy.

After these complaints about EC's lyrics, I’m once again convinced that modern metalheads have turned into such snowflakes that it makes me want to puke.

I just don't get their shtick at all. They are just trying too hard and it just feels like a gimmick. There are much better fun electronicore albums. That Vianova album from last year is a great example. Similar style but just done way better to me anyway.

i dont know what it was with tanzeid, but i felt like releasing 80% of the record as singles for me hurt the anticipation of it all. sure they did half of tekkno, but for me that record still came out to perfection while tanzeid felt like, "heh. it's okay." i give it a good 3.5 out of 5, but i honestly dont see myself listening to it anymore this year otuside maybe the title tracks 1,2,3,4, and the closing track. i would rather them had maybe just did 3-4 singles, and give me something to look forward to rather than 8 out 10 singles and left a minuscule 2 ep length of music not released as singles. as for "bury me in vegas" musically it's my absolute favorite record aside from tekkno.

I guess the shtick just isn't for me because I have so much more fun with a band like Enter Shikari than I do with these guys. Saw them play the main stage at a festival recently and I was bored as fuck, the set was so samey, if you've heard a couple singles you've heard the whole thing.
