I was a little confused by your review. You seemed to love it but also not so much? I’m not sure how any fan of Elder could have a single negative thing to say about Sight Unseen. To me that song and Strata before it are basically 1 long 20 min epic piece. And taken together that 20 minute epic is hands down the best song Elder have ever done.

Great review, I shared some similar feelings but can't stop listening to this thing. So stoked to see them live again this fall. And everyone watching this, go do the same! This music is awesome live! Just saw Gozu two nights ago in Denver and there were only like 20 people there, but they still fucking rocked. Go show some live love and reward these hardworking peeps by showing up and letting them wow you.

These guys were literally from my neighborhood. I didn't even know until one of their first interviews where they named my band "Planet Gemini" as an influence in some web interview they did.
I ended up getting their first release and was very impressed .. and now.. dear lord how awesome to see how far they've come. I'm so proud of these guys. Making great music and doing it their way. Love it and love Elder. They are MY influence now lol.
