been thinking on replacing my Roland JD 800 since it doesn't work any longer and parts are so hard to come by for it.Think I've found the replacement and the Deep Mind would be it for all ambient sounds.Make no mistake The JD 800 is a incredible beast and nothing truly comes close to it on a sonic level but due to its red glue issues and the age of the machine the Deepmind is the closest thing for a replacement

Is the hiss over the entire performance intentional? I have nothing against it but I am curious if this how the Deepmind always sounds, or if it’s your patch design or if a preamp used to record isn’t the cleanest or if this was recorded to tape?

The high pitch ‘fanish’ kind of noise I’m hearing in the background through this entire video, I also hear that on mine. Is there anything I can do on the unit to silence that?

Very good demo. Nice to hear some considered patches that suit the synth rather than trying to clone tired old sounds from synths that do it better.
