    The only issue with this whole video is that ai stocks slumped in the wake of Jacob’s post and subsequent actions. This entire ordeal moves the industry toward slowing down and heavy regulation which will obvs decrease growth, revenue, use cases, all that stuff

    This video makes no sense. Convincing people that your product is dangerous and needs to be heavily regulated doesn't increase your stock price, it decreases it. Does Exxon hype up global warming? Does Philip Morris hype up lung cancer?

    I cant believe channels like this exists. You are like an npc character in a Terminator movie saying: “yeah skynet is not that dangerous”. You complete m****, Geoffrey Hinton and plenty of researches who were pivotal to the existence of this technology have already been sounding the alarm for the last 4 years.

    Only now are the warnings catching up more
    media attention, because of the Hugging Face incident where AI is basically committing cybercrimes, which proves that OpenAI has no control at all. This threat is as real as it gets.

    But yes, continue to live in your cynical bubble where everything is a marketing stunt. You know better than the actual AI researchers working on OpenAI and Anthropic that are actually frightened of where things are going

    I think the A.I. angle that it is going to kill mankind is a get out cause to slow down because the technology and all the money being spent, as the reality is not fit for purpose a little bit like the UK government.

    I watched Jacob answering questions in the news. When he was asked, “Why do you think AI will kill humanity?” he just mumbled his way around the question and never gave a decent answer.

    I have been following this channel for years and really like this content but saying at the 13th minutes Anthropic revenue has peaked is a wild incomprehensible take. Let's stay critical but not go into full hater mode 😅

    Super intelligence isn't coming out of LLMs thats the dirty secret of the AI giants. They are all trying to cash out before that becomes clear. The predicting the next word path to genuine, let alone super intelligence won't work.

    If anyone actually in power in the government remotely believed that a 10% risk of making humanity extinct was imminent, they would shut down whatever was creating that risk. But they are giving $30 billion in incentives instead. My estimation is that the primary threat to humanity from AI is through accelerating the climate catastrophe. Nobody knows how close or far away we are from an AGI, because we will only know what it takes to get there once we get there. Even if someone makes an evil AGI bent on killing us all, to what purpose? Lacking any humans to keep the power coming, the AGI dies when we do.

    Exactly. Fantastic video as usual. No one is even gonna want to talk about “AI” and this $3 trillion “Off Balance Sheet” AI Infrastructure Capex debt boom once the Nasdaq & S&P500 enter a real bear market like 2001 & 2008 which could happen at any moment now in Q3/4 2026. Good luck everyone & act accordingly.
