TAG, you have outdone yourself, insane college frat house level scatalogical cackling crossed with deep liturgical analysis of Ayn Rand and The Fountainhead mixed with supernatural MLK astral projection. Holy shit, this is next level good!

I was a teenager and young adult in the 80s; never saw "Dirty Dancing". I had seen "Footloose", and after that, when it came to "dancing movies", I was all NO NO NO NO. But now, at age 56, I will finally watch this film. Any movie that bangs on Ayn Rand and points out the consequences of homemade aborshons is a movie I will get behind, even if it's almost 40 years late

Patrick Swazey was the first choice for this roll, but his portfolio said he does not do dancing. So they kept looking for the right fit for the roll but couldn't stop thinking about Swazey. His mother was a world-renowned dance teacher, and he could dance hard, but screwed his knees up playing football. So they circled back and told him he was the only one that could do it. He agreed and suffered through much pain to do this role. The final scene where he jumped off the stage and slid on his knees was filmed 12 times. He pushed through and made it happen. Pretty cool.
