Hey, did you ever notice how the ambulance magically appears out of nowhere? We all missed it back in the day — probably too busy dodging fake glass in our living rooms. What other Die Hard goofs or memories do you still spot on rewatches?

Only a simpleton and non-thinking tool would try pursuade anyone that this a Christmas movie. It's a classic action/adventure movie that takes place during an office party. The reason for the office party is completely irrelevant to the essence of the movie. This is no more a christmas movie than the "The Terminator". BTW, if you have the need to tell everyone that a certain movie is a "Christmas" movie, then you've already lost the argument. A true christmas movie is obvious to everyone and doesn't need some mental midget, with no critical thinking skills to try and convince you of something that clearly isn't true.

Yippee kai yay, Mr Falcon was a defining moment in my young life. Movies were censored for TV viewers, everyone knows that but Mr Falcon seemed to be one of the rare ones that actually made sense. I never laughed so hard in all my 10 years! I've never forgotten this, though it might be because I watched it ad nauseam all through the 90s lol

I wonder if the Alan Rickman being dropped early is actually true. Or if it was an accident to send him early, or a ruse to get a reaction. I doubt it was a ruse because stunt coordinators are usually really professional as to not injure anyone. And Rickman was certainly capable of giving an authentic reaction on cue and didn't need to be surprised.

I have a mug that says "It's not Christmas till Hans falls from Nacatomi Plaza" lol Love all the Die Hards and Bruce made them what they became. ❤ Awesome facts… love the fake feet!! Hadn't heard that lol

I just rewatched the movie the other day—I consider it a Christmas classic! Several facts surprised me: (1) that Bruce Willis was filming two shows at once. Sounds like Michael J. Fox and Back to the Future. (2) That Willis was the last choice! The famous actors who all turned it down was a who’s-who of action stars. Wonder if they regretted it. (3) That Fox was willing to pay top dollar for an untested actor at that level. Thought they would try to cheapen down his salary.

I always blinded my mind to the ambulance. It was back, deeper, in the truck. 😅 they came out in a cloud of smoke, the back back was obscured … enough

Every time i see a large box truck going down the road, I say to myself (from the east coast), “There goes Hans and the gang. That’s a long drive to LA.”

There’s another “error” that’s easy to see. The police’s RV and the rocket launcher. They only hit it once and use the same footage from two camera angles for the two shots… The glass in the window breaks again… They can’t have moved the rocket launcher to another window as they bolt it to the floor.

Between Willis and Mel Gibson, the Baretta 92FS became an iconic handgun. Much like way back in the 70s the Smith and Wesson model 29 44 magnum became an icon after the Dirty Harry series.

What I liked about this movie is. most Christmas movies completely try to engulf you in a picturesque holiday setting without any real problems or issues. This movie was realistic in the sense that despite it being Christmas, you steal have the same issues and problems that you just have to work through despite the holiday cheer.
