Did Elon Musk Just Rig the Stock Market?
Submit your feedback to the S&P about this rule change at this link by tomorrow May 28:

Elon Musk wants a SpaceX IPO valuing the company at upwards of $1.75 trillion.
To get there, he got the rules changed so that index funds, with millions of Americans’ retirement savings, are forced to buy in.
Retirees could take huge losses, while insiders cash out.

DOGE’s actions were designed to embezzle the entire United States’ wealth into Elon Musk’s pockets. And our elected officials just let it happen. I don’t understand how this inability to do their jobs wasn’t considered treason then, much less now after we’ve seen all the damages in such a short period of time.

When the satellites burn up in our atmosphere, it causes more harm to it than we have done to date from fossil fuels. In other words, SpaceX will kill us all.

Elon Musk is proping up Tesla by having Space-X buy the unsellable CyberTrucks and creating a circular system where his companies buy from one another to prop them all up. Stock values reflect nothing real anyymore as it's all pure speculation based of possible future values, not current values of the corporation.
He is a gifter whose wealth is built on government tax breaks, subsidies, and contracts. The idiocy is that the oligarcy is firmly entrenched in finance, politics, and governmance to the extent that they manipulate all three for their own benefit. Most of his predcitions have never come to pass and, likely, never will. He's a snake oil salesman who has conned people into thinking he's a genius when, in fact, he is anything but.

Check your investments. If any of them are in QQQ or other Nasdaq-following funds, shift them out. If the SP500 index rule changes, get out of any fund that has to follow that index. It's not going to be pretty.

If you don’t think indexes should make it easier for giant IPOs (think companies like SpaceX, OpenAI if public, Stripe, etc.) to enter major S&P indexes faster and with fewer restrictions your answers should probably be:
1. MegaCap definition
→ 50
(If special treatment exists at all, keep it extremely narrow.)
2. Shorten IPO seasoning to 6 months
→ No
3. Exempt MegaCaps from minimum IWF for S&P 500
→ No
4. Exempt MegaCaps from financial viability criteria
→ No
5. Exempt MegaCaps from minimum IWF for broader indexes
→ No
6. Allow fast-track addition of low-float MegaCap IPOs
→ No
7. Feedback on gradual/tranche implementation
You could say:
“I do not support the broader proposal. Market capitalization alone should not justify exemptions from float, seasoning, or financial viability standards. Index inclusion criteria should remain consistent across companies to preserve investability, stability, and index integrity.”
8. Implementation date
→ No
