Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed this episode. The topic was actually picked by this year’s Charityland auction winner Craig Jessup! Hope everyone is well and have a great day!

The first thing you do when trapped in an elevator is establish a Pooh Corner.

Maybe it was just me but this show had a shady, dark undercurrent to it I could never quite put my finger on. I watched it but always felt unsettled afterwards.

I have forgotten so many things in my life. Names. Phone numbers. Addresses. Birthdays. Anniversaries. Appointments. The laundry in the washer. The pot on the stove. Where I put my keys. Where I put my phone. What I was doing five minutes ago. I even forgot that this show had anything to do with Dumbo at all. But goddamn if "WE'RE PACKING THE WAGON, WE'RE SAYING GOOD-BYE, WE'VE GOOOOOOOOOT TOOOO FLYYYYYYYYYYYYY' doesn't still live rent-free in my head after 30-odd years. (Along with the fact that for the longest time I thought they were singing "WE'VE GOOOOONE TOOOOOOO FAAAAAAR" but never once questioned it.)

What I find Fascinating about Dumbo's Circus is how Dumbo had a Speaking Role on the Show where in the Original Animated Film from 1941 and the Live Action Version from 2019, Dumbo didn't Speak at all

“dumbo never speaks, an issue that would need dealing with in any sort of long form show” tell that to sooty and sweep!

When I was four, one of the things I remember saying was "Ladies and gentlemen!!! Boys and girls!!!" while pretending to be a circus announcer. I never actually went to the circus at that age, so I would stage my own circus shows (at four!) with the help of my family members at my grandma's house in the driveway where their basketball net was, but the next year I did go to the circus when I was five.

Also, I have never once heard of this show before but now I have and I think I will enjoy it for sure!! Also, luckily, now more and more people are uploading episodes of this show here on YouTube moreso than Pooh Corner and I have some playlists of both this show and Pooh Corner saved. Lastly, I wish that both Dumbo's Circus and Welcome to Pooh Corner (along with Mousercise, Adventures of Alice in Wonderland, Sing Me a Story with Belle, The Wiggles, Buzz Light-year of Star Command, Mr. Moose's Fun Time, All New Captain Kangaroo, and Breakfast with Bear) were all released on Disney+ for us to stream and watch digitally in today's day and age for sure both dudes and dudettes!!

Ironically enough, Dumbo’s Circus was where most of the Adventures in Odyssey cast met up.

As much as i loved DUMBO'S CIRCUS, the high part for me was LILY THE CAT!! Very attractive & acrobatic, she made the show for me. But the antics of all the characters, were very entettaining. Sorry the show is,not available in its,full.length.

That dog character Barnaby sounds a lot like modern day Goofy. Is that Bill Farmer doing the voice?

I was waiting for an appearance by Michael Eisner, that dastardly scoundrel.
I bet he was the one witholding the videos from VHS or DVD releases.
