    Look, I know Disneyland opening day did not go smoothly. But I think I would’ve enjoyed going to Tomorrowland. I can just take some pictures and seeing the future coming.

    OK, so "this man was also a Nazi" is pointing out the results of Operation Paperclip. The Soviets had them as well and they were USED to not only for the space race but for the larger cause of advancing the Nuclear Bomb program and then later on ICBMs, the delivery system for said nuclear bombs. By pointing this out every time, are you educating the people to Operation Paperclip Nazis OR trying to link Disney's (now completely and justly frowned on) world view to Nazi based? It would be a "this and that" argument. As in, if this is true "THIS" -Wernher von Braun was a Scientist and a former Nazi party member – then "THAT" must be true that old Walt was a Nazi or embraced Nazi Ideology. It can be said you are framing this absolute fact that Operation Paperclip resulted in the Federal Government forgiving Monsters of war crimes for scientific advancement. Without that context and in the vacuum, it can be assumed that the narrator is "implying" that Disney = Nazi. Let us not forget the Japanese that didn't swing that at the gallows that were in Unit 731 that would conduct living autopsies on "logs" and several other unmentionable horrific things to people too. It is a potential historical landmine not to tell the entire story and how the greater good outweighed the insanely evil acts these people were pardoned for or organizations they were aligned with and how it benefited America. The 1993 film Schindler's list shows how someone tried to help the Jewish people but at the end of the day, Oskar Schindler was a Nazi party member too and had financial gains from it. Could be a "this or that" argument too.

    Because nothing makes you want to retreat from being a wife and mother quite like five years of factory labor, am I right? Bullshit. Y'all carry billionaires' water repeating that claim and the people who suffer most are American women, the demographic on the planet most prescribed anti-depressant medication, clearly they're famously happy out of the home grinding careers for ambivalent bosses in lieu of raising loving families.

    It'd almost be forgivable were it not for the hypocritical pressure of women into soul-devouring careers 'for their own good and liberation'. It's just this era's inception of forcing women to do as their told, with no regard for their happiness nor fulfillment.

    I remember going to this exhibit in like 1999-2000. They had an area showing how things would be in the future. They had these sticks telling us thats what phones will look like in thr future 😂😂😂

    I'm just into this video and already wish Walts EPCOT was subject of tomorrow rather than space travel. Space travel helps a few. Getting together for future ways to establish liberty and justice for all is still a huge challenge as it was then.

    Thanks. I thoroughly enjoyed Tomorrowland as a 6 year old in the summer of '66. I looked for it when we visited again in 71 or 2 but was, of course, disappointed by its disappearance.

    A cherished memory from long, long ago in a galaxy long gone.

    The shrinking person ride, House of tomorrow, submarine ride, my first view of an hologram and a push button phone and the Swiss family Robinson tree house were the highlights of trip one.

    Thanks for the flashbacks.

    No one has ever been perfect. I enjoyed watching Disney on TV before it got as weird as it has. Ruining Star wars, Marvel etc. WOKE IS SHIT. Bet old walt would wretch. 🤮

    THANK YOU! I'm a boomer, and got to Disneyland, the dream of every kid of the day, in 1959. My trip was special, the Matterhorn had just been opened on TV by the Nixon girls. My grandmother had been on a cruise and tour of Europe in 1958, and Disney himself had also been on the tour. He was scouting out Zermatt and the Matterhorn.(I know it was '58, because she went to the Brussels World's Fair, and took pictures of the Atomium. And I still have the folding leather coin purse she got me in Morocco, wherever that was) The highlight of my trip was Tomorrowland – jee-whiz stuff for a 9 year old boy, and was disappointed that we couldn't go into the rocket itself, just a theater with a screen on the ceiling and one on the floor. It had to do. Loved the House of Tomorrow, they actually had an electric toothbrush, which I thought was ridiculous. So many memories just came back to me, almost 70 years later! Amazing.

I love how casually he says his personal political bullsh*t like it's a historical fact. I want to see the numbers on how many wives were devastated that their husbands were back from the war, working jobs for them and buying them homes, because their independence was being stifled by the fact that they no longer had to make boot heels and shell casings in factories. Gosh, it sounds kind of stupid when you say it like that, huh.

    Mickey was the only black allowed in Disneyland in 1955. Goofy and Pluto were a gay couple off-screen. Disneyland is currently considered both a potential terrorist target and a potential vacation site for terrorists.
