Never heard of Freedomland until this video. Also loved the connectivity of Disney Land, Freedomland, Six Flags, and the London Bridge! Small world, big video! Thanks!

Went there as a kid. I remember most of the dark rides and the Casa Loca. Perception askew. The building was slanted and gave the impression of gravity playing tricks. hWe all looked like we were all at an angle and they had a pool table where the balls looked like they were rolling uphill. I recall my father thowing up in a garbage can after that one. What memories.

Don't get me wrong this guy sounds like a shyster but Walt Disney definitely had sharing issues. It would have been cool if Disney was more of a co-op kind of company with more creative inputs for more directions instead of becoming a dictatorship and now a monopoly conquesting the world

Yep. Nothing more American than a con-man tricking stupid rich people into building an absurd caricature of American revisonist history filled with racist and sexist elements and a refusal to acknowledge that it is NOT the 1920s or earlier anymore in a deperate attempt to 'memberberries people into looking the other way while the same handful of stupid billionaires literally run the country into the ground by using their vast wealth to undermine democracy.
And to really add salt into the wound, of course they forgot to include any culture from the states that aren't coastal.

It lacked the most important thing in entertainment…. imagination. People want to escape to a fantasy world, not a direct analogue to their reality

There's plenty of people out there that have a job title of an engineer and they have no degree in engineering For a cervication that they're an engineer

It seems to me Woody simply knew how to networking. Like we all IT high level professionals do. Disregarding his shady background and intentions, you hire people that you trust AND have the needed skills and competence. That's how the good jobs works. The rest is on Linkedin.

The only 2 themes of rhe rides/attractions seem to be either forms of transit, racism, or both.

Okay but. The absolute hilarity of the metaphor that could be drawn from selling Freedomland– to a project called "Co-op City."
