ABOUT THE ARTIST
Talking Heads was an iconic American rock band, formed in 1975 in New York City by David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison. Known for blending punk, art rock, funk, and world music, the band became a pivotal force in shaping the new wave movement of the late ’70s and ’80s. With hits like “Psycho Killer,” “Once in a Lifetime,” and “Burning Down the House,” Talking Heads earned critical acclaim for their innovative sound, avant-garde style, and intellectual lyrics. Frontman David Byrne’s distinct voice and stage presence made them unforgettable live performers, with their 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense regarded as one of the best of its genre. Talking Heads’ experimental approach and genre-defying albums, like Remain in Light, continue to influence modern music.

Everyone seems to rate Naked as the worst record, but I agree with this dude. I think it’s much better than True Stories and sometimes I prefer it to Talking Heads 77.

Sax & Violins my most fav TH songs from the OST of "Until The End of the World". Also on a 92 greatest hit's album which is how I fully got into them.

Talking Heads created 5 works, their first albums with a consistency only matched by Pink Floyd and King Crimson, Frank Zappa is already in a different league, with Stravinsky and little more.

While Tina and Chris were complaining about not getting credit on Talking Head material, they were busy stiffing Adrian Belew on his contributions to Tom Tom Club's material.
