ABOUT THE ARTIST
Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, and began his music career at a young age as the lead singer of the Jackson 5, a Motown group formed with his brothers. His solo career took off in the late 1970s, and he became a global superstar in the 1980s with the release of Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), and Bad (1987). Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time. Jackson was not only known for his powerful voice and genre-blending music, but also for his innovative music videos and signature dance moves, such as the moonwalk. He broke racial barriers on MTV, set new standards for pop performance, and influenced countless artists across generations. His humanitarian efforts and global reach earned him numerous awards and honors throughout his career.

the world’s first ever he he he. thank you all for watching 🙂
EDIT 8/1/25: You'll notice that parts in the Off The Wall section have been muted. That's due to copyright claims that could've led to the video being blocked entirely. Apologies for the inconvenience, it's just the reality of talking about music on YT. If you wanna hear the video with all audio infact, it's on Patreon and Nebula!

37:50 this has always really pissed me off about Michael. Should’ve given or sold them at a fair rate to Paul and the surviving members

You saying you're born in 95 and you not knowing who Michael was until the allegations is why I don't agree with the whole generation thing. I was born in 84 & grew up on Michael. We aren't of the same generation. It annoys me I get lumped in with people born in the 90's. I consider my generation to be 82-87.

1:04:44 Funny you say that, since Blood On The Dance Floor was actually made for Dangerous and even got close enough to making the final tracklist (alongside fellow outtake "Someone Put Your Hand Out").
Hell every new song on the BOTDF album was made for the previous two albums. Superfly Sister was from the Dangerous sessions, Ghosts was initially made for the Addams Family Values soundtrack before being revisited for HIStory and eventually the short film, while Morphine and Is It Scary were made for the HIStory album.

Michael did not plant those tabloid stories that claim was made up by the literal editor of National Enquirer to cover his own ass for slandering Michael.

Hardly anything about Michael's song writing and composing. Just the usual gushing over quincy who wrote none of Michael's Music.

I appreciate the recognition of ‘Invincible’. It’s not in the same league as the other big albums BUT there are some great songs on there. I particularly love ‘2000 Watts’, almost a template for the rest of the 00s. However I can’t believe Jackson apparently turned down ‘Rock Your Body.’

we need to stop talking about the allegations and giving it power considering it was the President of the US and his friends who tried to blame him for their crimes.

31:20 Fun Fact is for sure wasn’t just a “Fork in the Road” it was the exact midpoint of Michael Jackson's life. January 27, 1984, the day his hair caught fire during the filming of a Pepsi commercial at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. He was exactly 25 years, 4 months, and 29 days old, with the same amount of time passing until his death on June 25, 2009

Love your vids but the start of the Video is hell of exageration!😆… Joe did not start the group and did not keep them as actual prisoners with no social interactions. They did play sports, Jermaine even had to perform several shows with a bandage covering 14 stitches he got from a little league baseball game accident in summer 1966…
They continued to go to regular school until they graduated, they just were homeschooled while on the road. MJ attended Gardner street Elementary (6th grade), Emerson Jr High (1 month in 7th grade), Walton Academy (7th-8th grade), Montclair prep high school with Danny Bonaduce and kathy Hilton…

April 5, 2026 at 12:25 pm
Considering Prince’s reaction to Michael’a death?
I think they had a lot of respect for each other and admiration.
I also think it was all bullshit and that documentary is incredibly good at twisting itself to make him look worst than it was. Mostly because that’s what it did. His bedroom was basically the size of an apartment with a whole upstairs so I wonder if he wasn’t being literal and he was just really bad at explaining himself like Mac said.
Also, I fangirled seeing the Back In Black album.

There’s one issue I have with this video at 1:13:05 he says that invincible is the last album he put out which is true when it comes to mainstream albums but his music production didn’t stop because in 2003 he released the single “One More Chance” on his Number Ones Compilation album released that year and in 2004 he released the Ultimate Collection album which has a few unreleased songs such as “Sunset Driver,Scared of the Moon,We Are Here To Change the World,Cheater,Monkey Business,Someone Put Your Hand Out,On the Line,In the Back,Beautiful Girl,The Way You Love Me,Fall Again and We’ve Had Enough” and then in 2008 he released Thriller 25 and it had remixes such as “The Girl Is Mine 2008” and “Wanna Be Starting Somethin’ 2008” as singles including unreleased music like “Carousel” so while his mainstream albums did finish his music production still continued after 2001 just not as much
