Dawes has a long history music that is monolithic. It’s rock and roll with songwriting that holds up easy to the vulnerability of a stripped-down arrangement. Their videos have been our playlists for a decade and we never imagined we would get to work together. But the world is crazy, and here we are.
Ten years ago when this song, and it’s music video featuring a who’s-who of real-deal musicians, released we immediately fell in love with it. All Your Favorite Bands is heartbreaking and lighthearted at once. It’s holding a hard goodbye alongside the joy of a life well lived.

Saw Dawes live in April of this year at the Fillmore in Philly! I drove ten hours for it. I cried, laughed, made new friends, and had a great bonding moment with my best friend. These guys are truly amazing. One of my all time favorite bands for sure
Edit/UPDATE:
On saturday i found out they were in Charlottesville celebrating the ten year anniversary of all your favorite bands. It was only a hour and a half drive. I bought one of the last tickets and got there. This was so random and unplanned but yet again another great performance.
