the way i've heard a couple of times now that people said they couldn't look away bc she felt they needed the respect and to "be there" with them for their very last moments…so heartbreaking

I was watching the timeline of the events that happened that day down to the second and it’s interesting to see that in 2001. There was also a case of a psychosis mother that drowned her five children in a bathtub. (Andrea Yates) and everybody agree that her supporters were psychotic and that her psychosis was no excuse for what she did.

Peter Jennings was my favorite reporter during his days. When i looked into his eyes…i literally saw the goodness & kindness of his soul. I will NEVER forget him.

Peter Jennings was incredible. Thanks for mentioning him, I remember his 9/11 broadcast vividly despite being a teenager. RIP Mr Jennings
