As a drummer I get it now. I was puzzled at first. But IIan Rubin is a big Bonham/Zeppelin guy. He even has that beautiful laid back feel. There's videos of him describing different Zeppelin songs. He also plays with the same setup Bonham used. That's Dave's favorite drummer too. Josh is a machine and an amazing drummer , but not so much of a Bonham guy. His feel is definitely right on point and at times can slightly pushy. Plus he mentioned not even relating to Foo Fighters musically. Remember he comes from the punk genre and started with bands like The Vandals and even DEVO. IIan is also more like Dave playing wise so I can see why he made the switch.

Dave Grohl is kinda deaf… that’s why he struggles to pick a drummer, hahaha just kidding. But yeah, it’s one of those bands that always has trouble choosing one, just like Pearl Jam.

Dave character is SERIOUSLY in question….cheated on his wife and 3 daughters…that spells DOOSH….among other things he has done to other musicians he got rid of…par for this guy….yet he gets breaks from fans? Why? Not a good person.
