You should start a separate podcast with just the sound effect on repeat. Just clips of your regular pod, no audio just “FAAAAAA” on different octaves and tempos. You clearly like the sound effect. Just play it to your hearts content.

This is why the Louis CK thing was such a big deal. It wasn't just "famous guy did something bad." It was" this comedian, who I idolize and want to be like, who represents me and my repressed darkness, is now unmasked as a weirdo and I have to decide what that says about me"

I never understood making someone a “hero” what does that even mean? What happens ? What changes ? Its obvious that you are creating this monolithic character but you dont realize that? Is it your ego that makes you think certain people arent human ? Is it projecting what you wish the world or you were like (self conscious) ? Man, there was one day that I got to see Jansen Jordan or whatever. Jordan janssen live at The comedy cellar and then she was the fourth comic The last comic. so right afterwards I went to the bar next door to say hi and some guy stopped me and said we don't allow that here. it was so embarrassing… it was just completely heartbreaking. I felt like almost disrespected. I just wanted to buy her a drink or have a quick conversation with her… I wasn't going to hit on her or anything
it was hard for me to get over that I like didn't even want to see her on my feet anymore cuz it kept reminding me of that
I felt like if you don't want people to approach you then why would you go next door immediately after a show to a public place where people are drinking?
