incorrect. if it's a public school you are allowed to request the lesson plans and materials of any teacher. districts also have year long unit plans for parents to review. public school means public access, all you have to do is request it but no. now if a teacher in texas wants to have a classroom library, they have to scan every book, match it to the isbn of book available in any library in the district, if it doesn't match they have to search the title and note any major additions, then send that list of books to the parents of every child that will have access to the classroom library along with a permission slip either allowing the child to use the classroom library or list which books the parent wants removed, and if you dont get a permission slip from every single kid, you just can't have the classroom library. at all. oh, and you need a turn in turn out system that records which kid borrows which book and then you send the list of the books one kid borrowed to their parents weekly. for every kid. every week. all of this after my school had to say goodbye to our actual librarian.
but, hey, now Karen can lord her new found power over overworked and underpaid teachers. istg this is like when i was asked to turn off harry potter on a plane so the Jehovah witness behind me didn't have to see it.

my Mom used to watch the first women Gabi showed on facebook, and started getting lots of really conservetive videos on facebook from other creators, (me and her used to go on long rides and would listen to true crime, but hte conservetive stuff started to leak through, and trying to explain it to her was exuasting when she took the video's opinion and wouldnt listen to mine), I noticed how she was being so infuenced by the conservietive videos, so i just borrowed her phone and blocked all the conservetive accounts, so then we just got true crime stuff again, and now she's back to trying to understand something instead of just judging something because she just doesn't understand 🙂

I actually used to watch the comment section with Brett cooper and I noticed it did… warp my perception of trans people and things. (Note: I am lesbian now and have gotten my own views that fully disagree with hers… also why is she yelling at the microphone when she’s so close?)
