Ending killed it for me. Cool story. not long enough. at least 26 episodes would have better imo.
character development was C+ at best. Story was solid. Feel like there could have been way more to this. should have dragged the episodes out longer.

Wow, what a ride! Thank you for that — for the feelings. It was so refreshing. I suddenly realised how much I’d missed the old-fashioned American detective vibe. So perfectly tuned, right down to the final frame. The music is a work of art.
As a longtime fan of Kamasi Washington, it was a breathtaking moment to realise it was them playing the intro — I’d guessed it even before the credits confirmed it.
Axel is a killer (guessed that from the first episode) — that’s the real essence of Spike Spiegel. I’m glad that, after all these years, Shinichirō Watanabe finally got to complete his favourite character — and to move on to even greater heights.
And at the heart of it all: this world isn’t fixed; it only seems that way. Painkillers aren’t the solution — they’re just part of one. And if the illness hasn’t been cured yet, then the price of suffering is still to be reckoned with.
