Great review. I saw the same show at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. You hit the nail on the head well regarding the energy of Dave Grohl. I did walk out after the show impressed with how many well-known songs the Foos have stacked up in their career. QOTSA were also very good, hoping to see them again where they headline. Both of these two bands were instrumental getting back into listening to new music in the early 2010's. Wasting Light and Like Clockwork were the two albums.

Great review Eric you’re a man that follows my style. The shows I’m doing for Sea of tranquility. I have a number of rock ‘n’ roll weekends which I would plan out in the 70s 80s 90s and 2000s where I would go to a club. Go see the Grateful Dead and go see a rocker the next night. Awesome keep on rocking Brother.

Hey Eric, always enjoy your reviews. My wife is a big foo fighters fan. We saw them here in LA some years ago. I think it’s the kind of band to see live. If you asked me to play them at home or in my car….no. Queens of the Stone Age we also saw in LA. They were surprisingly good. We enjoyed. I believe we saw them with the two piece band Royal Blood. We’ve not seen Billy or Devo. I was invited to see Devo (not free) and declined…no offense. Glad you enjoyed your getaway, keep those reviews coming. Can’t get enough live music.

The Linc is known to have sound problems for outdoor concerts, Citizens Bank Park across the street is much better for sound.

Hey Eric, haven't missed a single one of your concert reviews. Sounds like you had a blast at the Foo's show, nice.😎👍
This year I used my summer concert budget on other fun stuff. A little travel and staying at cool boutique hotels. Plan on at least one show in Portland OR in the fall. Next Summer I'll catch some shows for sure.
One of the first things I learned from Pete when I first started watching SOT was leave a like and a comment, it don't cost anything😁

Im glad you said “say what you want “ but yes Foos are one of best live acts going! Have been. Epic shows all the time. Queens kill live too, that’s a great one two punch there. Rock on!! 🤟🏼🤘🏼

Eric, great show. It's always nice to hear live concert reviews. It's safe to say that each concert has a life of it's own, from the sound to the venue, the setlist and even if the band is tighter on that particular night. It's the experience of being there that is the real thrill 💯👍

I've seen Queens of the Stone Age a few times & will say they put on a great show.
