Clown Finally Addresses the Slipknot Rumors

    Hey dude, will you be reporting on the Harbour View Private Equity buy out of Slipknot? It seems like the details are murky and there's a lot of misinformation around it. I would love to hear you take 🤘

    See, im 15, and i only recently became a fan when i was 13. But i know basically everything about them. And when i learned ybout this album, i want it released. I have all their CDs, i know so much about them. So i HOPE that album comes out at some point soon

    Joey wasn’t a part of this album. He secluded himself during the all hope is gone sessions. Paul wasn’t a part of it either. I read in an interview with either clown or Corey that when Paul asks to hear it they told him “No! The music is about you.” Considering that Paul wasn’t struggling with a heroin addiction and it was right before he passed I’m expecting a very gloomy and emotional album. I’m as excited as the rest of the maggots to hear it but I know it’s not gonna sound like a Slipknot album. I’d go as far as to say it wouldn’t even be close to a stone sour album as far as being a heavy record. Can’t wait to hear it 🤘🏼

    “It didnt make sense from a business standpoint” because they sold out ?? And probably had to wait for their deal before being able to release it

    Let's clear something, LOYW, isn't a lost album, just put to oneside, and we had been told it will be released when they think it's time. I think it's time, and it's not a Slipknot album as it didn't have all 9 members

    This has to be a tough record to get out for a lot of reasons, mostly due to the passage of time. Slipknot has gone through several members and had a couple pass away since this was written and recorded. Due to some of the members leaving acrimoniously, there are a lot of legalities involved when it comes to royalties and multiple labels being involved. It's really complicated to get this record out due to the unique issues within Slipknot. I get it. That's pretty much what he said, just without saying it. That's why he is frustrated.
