I had night Song stuck in my car cassette deck for a month. The other side was the Cult , goth love album.
Two good albums stuck for a month. Then Metallicas first two cassettes were stuck for two months. I really got to know those four albums. 😅

I saw lots of the bands who got lumped together in the same category because of their look, usually opening for Ozzy or Judas Priest or Whitesnake, and most of them were pretty inept onstage. Cinderella were actually good players with good songs . I was impressed with their show

I remember Tom came in to The MacDade House in Ridley Township. He was there to see Pegasus perform. I was like: Who is this dude? ..everybody was fawning over him. I asked about him and LOVED everything Cinderella did. DELCO STRONG TOM!

I saw Cinderella at Jamison Roller Rink in 1985 before they were signed.
My buddy and I were front row and my buddy thought the corner of the stage was the best place to lay his jacket.
When Cinderella came out Jeff was running around the stage like usual and tripped on my buddy's jacket and almost wiped out. After the show we met him and Eric and apologized about the jacket. He laughed it off and could not have been a cooler guy and they ended up talking to us for a bit.
I was fortunate enough to be living in the Philly area at that time and watched Cinderella's rise from amazing bar band playing The Galaxy or Empire to headlining megastars. It was something to behold.

It just goes to show you that no matter how talented/rich some of these musicians are—-they probably hate reality just like your average everyday Joe blow does; in their business—it is very easy to be around drugs; before you know it—you're on them—for too long & they die. I have to admit—I drank—-took Opioids—-but never cocaine nor needles in my arms…. I never mixed an opioid with alcohol… That's an eventual death sentence…. I always knew "there's a limit…." If there are some people that say, I didn't like the high I got after a tooth was pulled and your doctor gave you Vicodin/codeine—-they're full of it….. Although there are lots of people who don't drink nor do any drugs. I'm just being honest. RIP: LaBar. Steven Tyler said on I think Jay Leno show, years ago, that he snorted Lunesta….. Keith Richards takes it in the arm to a point where he looks like a very talented zombie…. Drugs take Ozzy Osbourne. Tom:' WTF….. ' Hey—we still want you around….. 61 isn't as old as some people think…

I was working at a concert venue and helped rowdies (intentional) set up. I was onstage during sound check and worked in security that night which is laughable now because I was a 160 lb. kid. Cinderella opened for Bon Jovi.
When BJ hit the stage I was wishing Cinderella would come back on. Jeff could tear up the guitar.

What was Jeff Le Bar's cause of death? Have never seen anything published about it? Did he OD? Seems odd the cause of death is being kept so quite. Based on all the addiction comments below and Tom's comments, makes it seem he died of an OD??

When I was a teenager in the 80's, Cinderella was 1 of the BIGGEST bands to grace the Tv screen in music video after music video, the first albumn was FULL of hit songs, albumn number 2 had many hit songs too.
What did Jeff Labar die from? Drug OD or a health issue?

I've seen cinderella Live a few times in the '80's I really liked Labar's guitar playing. best show for me was
at a small club in so cal known as the Galaxy, Had a great spot 15 feet away from the stage & the band kicked ass.
They opened the show, emerging from a cloud of smoke & began with Night Songs. it was way cool.
