I have a different question. Hkw often does a species evolve into a crab/cat? You said that there are 10000 crabs and maybe 100 cats, but all true cats and true crabs evolved out of the same family of cat/crab. So how often does a false crab evolve into a crab?

Marsupials are true mammals, as are monotremes. They fall in the clade mammalia. They arent eutheria, but eutheria arent known as the “true mammals,” theyre the placental mammals. Every organism in the class mammalia is a true mammal.
