Sometimes I think about when a cashier told me to enjoy my purchase, and I responded "you too," but then re-entered the room and said "I meant THANKS" and we both laughed it off. It felt good being able to resolve that exchange without really embarrassing myself…
… but then I think about the other time I couldn't decide if I wanted to say "of course" or "no problem" and what came out was "nuf cummen"

4:28 the reason there shouldnāt be an apostrophe in dos is because itās a plural and doesnāt need one. I think people think dos looks weird and panic – or itās their one chance to exhibit symmetry in a short sentence when paired with donāts, which of course has an apostrophe to indicate the missing o from do nots.

People always assume whatever the other person said is instantly forgotten, and that the smile they thought was an awkward oops was in fact self satisfied symbol of smug.
