Casually Explained: How to Have a Normal Conversation

Casually Explained | February 24, 2026

Out here forgetting how to make videos, unsure of if I stole Jimmy’s quote off of him, my own tweet, or someone else, and also just generally being envious of people with driver’s licenses. It’s also Jan’s birthday tomorrow so say hbd but it didn’t make it into the pictures because I drew them 2 days ago.

i did really good. someone said their day was long and instead of saying ā€œokā€ i asked ā€œwhat did you do today?ā€ very good. very smart.

he then asked to be my submissive

Sometimes I think about when a cashier told me to enjoy my purchase, and I responded "you too," but then re-entered the room and said "I meant THANKS" and we both laughed it off. It felt good being able to resolve that exchange without really embarrassing myself…

… but then I think about the other time I couldn't decide if I wanted to say "of course" or "no problem" and what came out was "nuf cummen"

I like to randomly start screaming at and touching whoever im having a conversation with whenever they say the word ā€œputā€. I am now a wanted man for some reason.

As a Londoner, this is never gonna work, EVER. Small talk is impossible to attempt in southern England, literally everyone takes you for a dickhead, DO NOT attempt when visiting.

4:28 the reason there shouldn’t be an apostrophe in dos is because it’s a plural and doesn’t need one. I think people think dos looks weird and panic – or it’s their one chance to exhibit symmetry in a short sentence when paired with don’ts, which of course has an apostrophe to indicate the missing o from do nots.

20yrs from now the reason lift guy wont be able to sleep at nights will still because he’s torturing himself for trying to be funny by asking if his car was faster than a bicycle.

People always assume whatever the other person said is instantly forgotten, and that the smile they thought was an awkward oops was in fact self satisfied symbol of smug.
