This was hilarious. I'm surprised they missed the fact that she got on his lawnmower mid-morning, and sunset hit 2 seconds later (unless they were riding for 7+hours). And just a clarifying note, I think the envelope she gave him included a check to cover the original $1,000 he'd paid her. I think the mom made her refund him for the outfit once she found out about their indecent proposal lol

This is the first time I've ever seen the end, because I did see this when I was younger and I was left with the impression that the girl realized he was just a social climbing creep and he had to live with his mistakes with no girlfriend

crazy how back then the things that were considered un cool are now considered cool. Glasses, braces, suspenders, freaking geeks and nerds, little did we know they had it right about geeks all along. Geeks are literally just as full of sh!t as the popular peeps except they’re just socially awkward

This movie was shot in Tucson, Arizona and the popular girl's house is in my old neighborhood. They also went to my high school. It's a trippy movie to watch. Now, it's even funnier.

As an 80s teen with an astronomy obsession, I was appalled by his choice. There will be other girls but quality telescopes are fleeting. As an adult, looking back, I stand by this assessment. You may think you've saved up enough for that beautiful giant light bucket, but then one of the kids need expensive dental work or the transmission goes out on the car. Every. Damn. Time.
