After six years and visiting many times of this video I still hope for the code to be available for the enthusiasts like me, a musician and a meditator. Even while watching you reach that state I can feel it myself. I want to train myself that way as well and I am truly excited to work on it myself the way you did in the video… in any case, thank you Benn, you are an inspiration

As someone who has had a professional QEEG scan done, I have this message to anyone interested in this stuff. My brain was very messed up. I was unknowingly allergic to gluten which caused inflamation and what could be looked at as very strange results (without their extensive shared database to compare against). Be smart, dont break your brain.

The intersection between science, art, and communication is I think the most promising and radical area of human development and you sir are a pioneer in this arena. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙂

Love this. Hello from the future. It’s been 5 years since your video.

Iv been down a lot of similar rabbit holes over the years really seeking a solution to chronic CPTSD triggering and trying to get my nervous system out of the fight/flight/freeze chronic states that have plagued me. Currently I’m trying to engaging in music making as a right brain integration practise. In tandem with other therapeutic approaches. There’s a device that’s emerged as interesting that would be worth checking out Called nurosym. It’s taking a direct to the vegas nerve approach using electro cortical stimulation via a placement near the ear. Anyway I’m thinking of investing and trying it with basically the same goal you’re seeking here. Thought it may be intresting to combine that with something like the muse and music feedback system. To Gather data and see if it can create a sort of positive feedback system for retraining our brains and nervous systems. Anyway peace to all ❤

Can you make this a product? I'm at engineering school, essentially I use music to try to calm my anxiety. I think this could be one step better than chill lo-fi beats to study to

holy fuck this was made 5 years ago. this is amazing, im just blown away….to think where i was in my life 5 years ago. how lost i was, how angry i was, all the stress and weight i put myself through…never feeling like i could go to something that i felt was my refuge. but this gives me so much hope, it makes me so excited to learn more and experience it for myself. I am so ready.

As someone who came to your channel by watching your science videos, I'd love to see more. Especially a clearly identified "for people who only want the science stuff and don't understand/enjoy the music creation stuff" section 😅. Other content creators I follow have started new channels when their subject matter has veered off like that (an inevitability with ADHD 🤣)

I'd never seen this video before, so it's pretty funny how I use that exact same mental image of swiping bad thoughts away to refocus. Another one I have is imagining a picture of my brain and scrubbing it blank with an eraser. Mind blank, head empty.

I'm looking to repair neural pathways after having a stroke at 32, 2 years ago. I lost the ability to play music because of it. And to say it has been hard is an understatement.

Ok, so much comments, hope I'm not repeating something…
Perhaps, if you work offline with your data recorded or even sensing someone else will generate better results -but I'm sure you thought of this.
I was wondering. Did you pay the cellphone app for getting the OSC data from the headset or you created an app like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjF2rfTzpTg ?

Very interesting work, thank you. I personally like your non music tech videos.

Fascinating. As someone who loves, is fascinated by, and creates atonal music, I wonder how this would work for me?…

Does Muse work only with Reaktor, or can other soft synths be integrated into it?

    Thanks
