Question 1 (#6) = you nailed it perfectly
Question 2 (#7) = it's just taking a big number and slowly breaking it down into a series of prime number (numbers only divisible by 1 and themselves). Answer A has 9 in it, which is divisible by 1, 3 and itself, so not a prime number. B has 2.5 which is a rational number but not an integer, so nah because it's breaking it down into integers. C has 1 in it, and prime factorization requires numbers greater than 1, so not that one either – though that one is tricky because of that rule. D is a series of prime numbers, all greater than 1, so that's the answer. Answer is D for this question.
Question 3 (#10) = you set up the equation exactly right. 5.25/0.5 is the same thing as saying 5.25*2, so the answer is 10.50, but you got there in your own way, so nailed that one. đ
Question 4 (#3) = you nailed that one perfectly too.
Question 5 (#4) = nailed that one too, although in a different way than I did it, but you def got it.
Question 6 (#8) = didn't see the answer key, but sounds like you figured it out yourself. đ
Question 7 (#1) = you got it exactly.
Question 8 (#2) = you had it right the first time, since there's no line under the "greater than" symbol means it's not "greater than or equal to," and since it has to be only taller than 48 inches, it can't include 48, but you figured that out at the end, so yeah C.) h > 48 is the right answer. Also 60 inches is 5 feet, so they'll let you on. đ Enjoy that roller coaster.
Question 9 (#3) = nailed it again.
Question 10 (#1) = yeah, breezed through that one.
Question 11 (#2) = An acute angle is any angle below 90 degrees, and an obtuse angle is any angle above 90 but under 180 degrees, and 45 * 2 = 90 so any angle between 46 and 89 degrees would produce an obtuse angle, but anything 44 degrees or below would still be acute.
Question 12 (#3) = If you fold the cube back up, it would end up having 5cm on each its length, width, and height, so 5x5x5 = 125. 125cm^3
Question 13 (#4) = 12×0.99 = 11.88, and 11.88 – 10.49 = 1.39, so the answer is he paid 1.39 more.
Source: I'm a math tutor at college that can do up to Calculus III. But don't feel bad, tbh, I have to revisit some elementary math from time to time while I'm doing derivation and integration in my head, or calculating infinite series, or whatever. It's easy to forget these things. But damn dude, your thought process was totally on point. đ
EDIT: Omg, I realized you showed the answers at the end, but I wanted to see if I could remember along with you so skipped around and didn't notice those. Now I look like a pretentious douche. But still, you did quite well. đ

honestly seeing the comments I was expecting way worse but for most of them you got the thought process right , you just need at least in my book that's what maths is more about than simple artithematic .

As someone who took a double advanced math class (ie, taking 8th grade math in 6th). I admire your guess and check abilities. Always was my backup plan. That said, this was a hard watch.

For finding out how much times 20 would be in 1000, you can just cancel the zero of both sides, which would leave you with "2/100"
and that's just 50.

The 2nd answer to the 2nd British one technically isnât 100% correct, since even if it was 45 degrees, it would still not be an obtuse angle. It would have to say that anything less than or EQUAL TO 45 would not be an obtuse angle. Because even though 45 is not less than 45, it still wouldnât be an obtuse angle. So the British test is worse than all the other ones.
