The 1:5:1 ratio is my favorite ratio ever

The swimming pool scene/shot is one of my favorites of the year! Such a brilliant idea to let that action play out from a distance 🙌

Horribly pretentious and nihilistic film (boo yorgos). Incredibly shot and crafted (yay robbie)!

Beautiful imagery throughout, only the narrow 1.5:1 format really distracted me the whole movie.

Robbie Ryan is just so great and one of my favourite DPs. His work with Andrea Arnold is stunning and I’m so happy that he found another regular collaborator in Yorgos!

hearing the cinematographer give more bits about this film makes me appreciate it more. i saw this at TCL in hollywood and loved it was shot on film, but had no idea it was on Vista Vision. This commentary is gold.

Shame I couldn't watch it on a premium large format screen. AMC non Imax or Dolby does such a disservice to VistaVision

This video isn’t in the film’s native aspect ratio

The choice to shoot that tackling scene from inside the pool room is simply beautiful. It's the best shot in the film and makes the trailer very enticing. I wanted to see it after that!

I love how the intention of the kidnapping scene was to be funny but I found it disturbing lol

Super interesting! I thought the camera drag was intentional in those scenes, haha. The movie looked amazing!

Thank you for circling all the cameras. Had you not, I would think someone’s water bottle was the camera
