    If anybody is still interested in watching blame it on Rio it is very much still available and free on many streaming services. It is free on Tubi streaming service right now. I have a vague memory of maybe seeing some of this movie as a kid on TV or something. I was born in 1982. But I can't say for sure. I think I'm going to go watch it right now to see what all the hoopla is about😂😂😂

    I was a young college student when this came out, so I totally missed it. About 10 years ago there was absolutely nothing good on TV. I landed on this movie and it was like watching a bad car wreck. I wanted to turn away so bad, but had to see how it ended. Now I feel compelled to watch it anytime it's on. Weird.

    This film used to be on HBO…a lot! The moral of the story is, don't sleep with your friends daughter. I think that is great advice. I'm glad this movie cleared that up.

    When I saw this movie in my teens in the 80s I couldn’t wait to be Michal Caine’s age to get a hot girl like her. I’ve come and gone and still waiting. 😂 I don’t think it’s happening.

    I like your reviews. The outro sucks ass, mainly because I don’t know what you’re talking about. Also, when I first listened to you because I liked you, I put like 15 of your videos on my playlist and I heard that outro 15 times. Also, can you make the videos longer?

    Funny thing is that I have spent the last 11 of 15 months in Rio, it's so much different now than it was then or in the Bob Hope and Bing Crosby Adventure On the road movie. It has become an ultra atomized, communist plutocracy, there are the serf level poor and the super rich. Go the wrong place at the wrong time and you will become a statistic or at least beaten and relieved of your personal property. The cost of living is very cheap thankfully so I can afford to maintain a place to live here and my place in Tennessee. Most day to day items are significantly cheaper here so, that's kinda nice. 350 reals buys a week worth if groceries, 550reals is $100. Rent is like 1500reals, less than $300. Now that I found my wife after I spent over a year getting to know her, her family and her way of life., I married her. Now we just want to get her Visa and get the hell out of here before we are stuck in a Civil War if the bald black cape wearing supreme court judge Doom Dracula looking dude decides he has the right to just make up anymore messed up laws without the consent of the citizens or even a vote. They've already had a secret war happening between the Army/Police and the people in the favelas who have been put in the position of controlling illegal vices since the USA decided to force our draconian policies on the rest of the world making and unregulated dangerous black market. There seems like unlimited potential for growth and prosperity here and nothing is being done because of the decadent corrupt shortsighted lazy political class. Apparently climate change is the excuse for why these people dont deserve to have normal access to running water, household hot water plumbing, central HVAC. clean orderly streets and a productive societal ethic. Upward mobility here is zero. Nearly everyone I have met under 40 lives with their parents with few prospects. Maybe are even more educated than I am, yet, they have zero chance of making what I make from my military retirement which is like 22,000 reals a month after tax. I make nearly 5x what the average working adult here makes. If it's your thing, a bottle of cheap local booze here is equal to $1.50usd a 1L, a pack of English BAT brand cigarettes is $0.90-1.30usd and a 2L energy drink is like $1.10-1.80usd. Apparently if you wanted to see a working girl, it's equal to like $7-10usd for a quicky or 2 girls for an hour is like $30usd and a bag of the white stuff is $2usd a gram, $40usd will get your 15 fat baggies with like 2grams. So, if you are a young adventurous guy with a passport, some guts, maybe a buddy or two who want to tag along. Come on down to Rio. There are AirBnBs where you can stay as cheap as $60usd a week that are totally decent, not fancy but, clean and with all the amenities you need to survive comfortably. I have seen tickets as cheap as $300-400 that have a layover in Florida, then Bogota and then Rio. If you want to stay longer and save on the initial ticket, buy a $70 ticket from Sao Paulo to Bueno Aires instead of a round trip if they ask you for an "onward travel" destination, the airline leaving FL is the only people who ask, Brazilian Customs is super easy and doesnt ask that at all, I have never had my bags searched by Customs either direction and I have made 6 trips now with carryons only. Dont bother bringing a lot of clothes. You can get the local uniform of flipflops for $2, shorts for $4-8, a shirt for $3-6, hat for $3-5 that's all you will wear. Just have multiple phones, Raybans, cologne, tablet/laptop, a speaker, headphones, chargers, documents and any dear personal items. You'll be just fine. The women will make your head explode and they LOVE blue eyed gringos. If you are even just slightly above average looking you can pull nearly any Brazillian woman you meet, work on your Portuguese and get quick with your translate skills. Even if you have a women with you…I am not kidding, unless she is sitting on your head and is only hovering nearby…women will go out of their way to try to meet you. Just be careful where you go, who is around, what time it is, common sense and you'll be fine. I am not a massive roid machine, 69" and 190lbs and I was never intimidated anywhere I went completely solo…maybe I have that 1000yrd vet stare or something but, no nair do wells ever approached me. A youtuber called The Swedish Gringo on the other hand is a skinny kinda goofy looking pretty boy dude and has been robbed on the beach and beaten like 3 times now, he was even drugged and robbed once. So, never accept drinks or leave a drink unattended, they are very cheap so don't risk it. Stay safe out there boys. If you aren't adventurous enough for Rio you can always Passport to like the Philippines where 60+ year old men frequent in total safety.

    OMG BAHAHAHA THIS MOVIE!!! A movie like this would NEVER get made today. While looking at it through today glasses it is a crazy plot. I love 80’s movies for these sort of ridiculous stories. Take as another example the movie Can’t buy me Love. Romantic sure, creepy and weird and would never be made now. I digress lol Blame it on Rio lol yea taking your friends daughters virginity 😬😜 and let’s just call this movie a romantic comedy for funsies 😅
    Can anyone else think of 80’s romance that would be somewhat out of place these days?

    I remember watching this movie when it was first released and not really thinking about it, but it was on TV a few years ago and holy smokes! I couldn't watch it, it was just too gross.
