At a recent Black Crowes concert, fans began chanting “USA!” after the band’s mascot appeared on the video screen wearing red, white, and blue. Chris Robinson wasn’t having it, calling out the crowd and questioning what they were so proud of. The reaction was immediate—boos, angry fans, and reports of people walking out.

They might have a problem. A majority of their fan base is Gen X and while we might have agreed with his views when we were college age in the 1990s a majority of us voted for MR TRUMP

I have friends who are nutty on both sides of the political spectrum. My best buddy is a 20 year Navy vet. He keeps his political opinions to himself – though I can figure out what they are. He’s not a “rah, rah, rah, USA! USA! USA!” kind of guy, but he flies his flag and is proud of his service through wars and conflicts all over the world.
I have good friends who are lightly educated, hillbilly-esque types that love Trump… and I have good friends who are artsy, homo, socialists who are too smart for their own good. I say, “to each their own”. I keep my mouth shut and just cringe at all modern politics in the privacy of my own mind.

Read former longtime drummer Steve Gormans book. Chris Robinson finally became what he preached against for decades. The Black Crowes is now completely a band of hired guns who have to sign non disclosure agreements.

Eff that singer guy. The african american crows had a few, a few, good tunes but otherwise they're just birddroppings on the rock n roll sidewalk. The point that 50% of people are offended by (fill-in-the-blank) is because the USA is not full of Americans. It's all part of their plan. Look out. We are in the midst. We are living it.
They like to give their political advice. Why don't celebrities ever recommend a plumber or a dentist? A nice grocery store?

Taking pride in "your" country I have always found a bit absurd. It's like fat people cheering on "their" sports teams.
