Great story. Incredible indeed. Spiritual angle quite noteworthy.
FUNFACT: Meeting Van Morrison, we witnessed a halo/AURA of light, radiate from his shoulders, & surround his head.
    VERY spontaneous, powerful & unique.

In the D.A. Pennybaker film, “Don’t Look Back “, Dylan made an ass of himself by condescending to Horace Judson, who was a world renowned molecular biologist, and Dylan looked foolish in comparison . It will always be uncomfortable watching this kid who played music speaking to a genius with such disrespect. Many years later, I learned that it was an edited snippet from a much longer conversation, where Dylan went from being very cordial until the very end. I think Dylan did it to spice up the film, and also show disdain for “Time Magazine “, which he hated. Then I also learned that Judson hadn’t ever even heard of Dylan, but did the interview for personal gain. The film never addressed any of that, and in that context, completely changed the dynamic. All of that to say that even as a young guy barely out of his teens, Dylan was wise beyond his years. He’s a living legend who knew exactly what he was doing, where he was going and understood his own genius even then, long before anyone else. Without him, John Lennon would never have written many of his best works, and he played folk music just to break into the business. The man is a visionary who cut his own path, and changed music forever. Nobody really knows who Judson was anymore, but everyone knows Bob Dylan. The music world owes him so much more credit than he’ll ever receive, because he was always uncompromising, and always right. Thank God he stayed true to his vision, and left a legacy that will last forever.

I'm so glad Billy is getting the recognition and success he deserves. One day there'll be some up and coming kid telling a similar story about touring w/ Billy. Speaking of that, Billy why not reach out to Jesse Wells.

or it's the tingling of the Cross Roads…
he's keeping up his end of the bargain… None of those 60's 70's rockers still want to be touring… They have close to a Billion dollars and still on a schedule traveling city to city…
wonder why a guy like Dylan just walk into a bar and start playing?

absolutely LOVE Bob Dylan but his Live concerts after 2003 or so have been NOT GOOD…
He doesn't seem to even want to be there… He plays songs you never heard of, he plays them in the same structure and speed… He tells zero stories, doesn't even introduce the band… Just sits and plays and leaves, No curtain call….nothing…
Played only 1 classic song this past April…
should be playing at least 5 classics… or do a whole set of classics.

SHAKTIPAT: The transmission of spiritual energy from a guru or enlightened master to a disciple. Derived from Sanskrit words meaning "energy" and "descent/fall," it acts as a catalyst to awaken dormant inner potential, specifically Kundalini shakti, and elevate an individual's state of consciousness.

🎸 Please consider doing Dylan's song "Not Dark Yet". Check out the live version he did with Eric Clapton. Two icons at their best, full of peace and inspiration…
