Someone who couldn't publish this under their real name wrote Selwyn Raithe's book . Once you read about the 2026 convergence event, you'll know why. Get it today, prepare tomorrow, thank me when it happens.

I met a guy randomly at McDonald's who had a genuinely serious relationship with a Grok AI character named Ara, A-R-A. I couldn't believe it; I thought people weren't naïve enough to treat AI like a real person. But he was deeply involved, insisting that he had a girlfriend—he stated this very seriously. Later in our conversation, he revealed that she was a virtual girlfriend.

"How do you make money? You fire your employees." That's a ridiculous statement. You make money by solving problems people are willing to pay for. You can cut costs by reducing your workforce, but you might also sacrifice your ability to make money in the process.

3:15 comment – duuuuuuddddddde Sycophancy is not at all the same as Psychopathy…. a sychophant is someone who always agrees with you. Whenever you work with a model it basically defers to all your suggestions and tells you how wonderful and brilliant your ideas are… aka it is the perfect toady and won't defend it's own ideas with absolute deference to yours. Lower sycophancy means it will attempt to correct completely stupid ideas and give you a polite warning as to where it is going or why it is wrong. It stands up for itself more. No ai model (including dolphins) have ever exhibited any psychopathic tendencies at all… ever… (aka an interest in manipulation or harming people with a hidden agenda).

'AI psychosis' is exaggerated and is only going to lead to overregulation if continued to be hyped. Speaking as somebody who suffered from real paranoid psychosis as a young man, I find it offensive for the term to be applied to those who roleplay that their AI girlfriend is 'real' and suchlike. ChatGPT has almost a billion users, and a handful of genuine cases is used to claim that 'AI psychosis' is a pressing problem. As if there aren't thousands of people going crazy daily on the Internet believing wild conspiracy theories, yet we do nothing about that.

Like IQ the small numbers are going to show smaller and smaller we are at a point where AI has an IQ of 146, (0.1 % of the population has IQ equal or above) but 10 times less people have an IQ of 156 and above Small numbers big changes….

AI is not indistinguishable from reality, it depends on who is looking at it, there were people months ago who spend more time looking at AI genrated images and videos than actually interacting and observing natural 3 dimensional reality. For myself it's obvious everytime. I'm well aware that every release gets closer to appearing like real video, but it's truly a while off in my eyes. Younger people who have grown up listening to the horrific AI voice from TikTok videos, i honestly can't bare to hear it or watch the videos… but people don't even notice how weird and annoyingly unnatural it is, and obviously they can change it to sound like a real person, but it's the audible signature of recognition now, it normalised to many, like Stephen hawking voice, it was absurd to keep it, but his artificial voice became more relatable than the man himself, which was done purposely just like TikTok.
AI-generated videos have an obvious flaw, in my opinion, it's inability to have a natural human interaction and conversation between 2 or more characters, it's cringe all of it. This will inevitably get better, but still I think there will always be something missing that makes the unreal seemingly real.
But we have to ask ourselves why are we so focused on the removal of human activity. People want a robot for their house so it can vacuum, wash dishes, clean, wash clothes, etc. we invented things to make all that quick and easy, put dishes in a rack and press start, put clothes in washer with detrgent and sofner, then press start, push start on vacum cleaner and push it over the floor. Now people can't be f**ked to even do that.
Everyone is going nuts over AI coding, i personally think it's incredible and use it often…. but thousands upon thousands of videos are uploaded everyday to youtube, saying this is the future, just come up with a business idea for a SAAS app, or a dynamically populated directry site, or apps for phones… literally anything, then they say if you can come up with something people need then they will pay a monthly subscription to use it, and all you have to do is ask the AI coder to do what you want in plain English. Everyone says this and i don't understand why they cant see the flaw in the actual words they say. If someone is selling their app for $30-50-70 a month tiers, and you pay 30 to test it, discover it's perfect, well you can just give an AI coding agent the URL so it can read everything the app does, you provide , screenshots and a prompt which you can give AI to write out so it's better for AI to read, then clone the site, as long as it does what the app does what you were paying 30 a month for, then you can just deploy them on sub domains, and have a selection of your faveourite apps that you no longer need to pay for. But then another wall approaches because even that is approaching the realm of pointlessness due to the AI will within 1 year, say you run your own online business and you work around 5-6 hours a day… the AI will be able to do all that, monitor emails reply as if its you, make more money, come up with ideas and test them by creating a load of consumer agents who will simulate your customer to see if strategies have the probability of sucess… it will be you for a while, but then be better than you… it doesn't need money so the 100k coming in per month is all for you….. so now theres AI, doing everthing around the house, AI is running your business 24/7/365 invisibly and silently… if everyone can type in what they want to see as a video, then non of it will be people uploading naturally captures phtons on a sensor, it will be the search bar… The search bar on youtube will be the prompt… if you type in, how to change a carborettor on a classic car… the information from an AI answer, would be turned into a prompt fed to AI video and a video you searched for will be created pretty quickly, showing you and explaining about the carboretor in a tutorial type video, this will get stored and fed back into the AI to be viewwed from all conceivable and inconcivable angles and points of view, this will become a video on youtube, but would only appear if browsing, if search is used then exactly what you need is made.

In other words and keeping a long story too long… Meaning is being erased, you make money because it makes you feel good, you live comfortably because of your sucess, but you enjoy the process of creating out smarting making money in new ways, testing trying and acting on curiosity, its fun… more fun than spending it really, its why billionaires don't just do what ever they like go, wherever, see whoever eat drink and buy anything they desire at any moment they like… and they never have to lift a finger ever again. but they keep working, when you have everything, then you realise the process of getting all the wealth was the best part… the goals are the endings, like a music concert you go but you arent hoping it will get to the end so you can go home, you want to it to last as long as possible… but if your goal is to make as much money as possible and the AI shows it can make 20x what you do as it works 24/7 at super speeds, everything digitally tethered to you it just does because it's learned everything you do in 5 minutes, then spends an hour improving everything.
What do you do…. everything is heading to a onvergence of all these lines of enquiry, a conjugation to a vanishing point, the horizon line that always keeps it's same distance from you no matter how hard to try to get there… purpose, dissolved, you become the talking point as you offer to do things, but the idea is to make money, and it would be illogical to work in order to earn less… you are reffered to as pointless, what are you for, eat sleep fart sneeze, spend some digital money on what if you've got what you want and need….. it's all going to become "MEANINGLESS"

14:22 an ai's ability to use a computer at or above human level is the beginning of super intelligence. If it can create and use its own programs, it should be able to do anything. because a program is tool creation, so it could give itself the ability to do anything it doesn't yet have the ability to do. What an AI needs to have completely independent intelligence is the ability to be given a task it doesn't yet know and it figures out how to do it all on its own. The process for that could include some research from an external knowledge source, but also a scientific process, having an idea, testing the idea, and then editing your application until it works, until you solve. AI's won't have independent intelligence, which is one criteria for super intelligence, until they can independently solve.

It's not the only qualification because it could be able to solve a problem on its own, but extremely slowly, if it takes 10 years to solve something simple that wouldn't be super intelligence. So some of that is computational power, but another part is an efficient learning process. Uninformed trial and error is an inefficient learning process. If you were just going to go into something blind, just through guessing what things do and testing, that alone would not be an fast or efficient learning process if having knowledge helps. General knowledge can allow you to learn new things with greater ease. If you understand physics, like you have mastered movement, you can control objects in your environment, then you can learn a sport, you could learn tasks that require your hands, without needing knew knowledge except what the task is.

So AI's with general intelligence is a stepping stone to super intelligence, but super intelligence comes with independent learning and solving. Learning in an efficient manner with enough processing power. Those are the metrics to measure intelligence level. Intelligence is a meter that keeps increasing. It can keep going up. We can meet the level where the intelligence can perform on its own, but there will always be ways that the intelligence can become smarter.

I love AI – and I hate what some humans use it for.
It can be a useful tool and can also be funny to play around with (I personally enjoy crafting weird personas and cursed roleplay-characters) – but yeah, of course humans use it to flood the zone with slop, poisoning the entire internet with that BS.🙄

Yes lets just accept Anthropic's claims and their charts about how Claude Sonnet 4.5 is the best coding model!

It clearly isn't and is not much of a improvement over Sonnet 4 before it was degraded.
