Angry Video Game Nerd episode 233. The Nerd learns that beating Bubble Bobble the right way takes more than one player. To reach the true ending, he has to bring in a very special guest. Together they blow bubbles, trap enemies, dodge Grumple Grommit (aka “Super Drunk”), decode the game’s bizarre on-screen messages, and grind through both loops to earn the ending most people never saw back in the day.

This is one of my all-time favorite games. You can actually beat this with one person. You just have to hit start/select to give the second player a life and then very quickly get the item with the second player. God, I'm such a loser…

I love that the guitar guy is one of the nerd's few friends. They bond over bad games and the worst thing the nerd did to him was break his guitar while fighting bugs bunny.

All this talk about Kyle's health is nonsense. He looks like a guy with 3 kids and a demanding job. Probably hasn't played regularly in years to focus on his business and kids. Dude is tired like any other father would be. This was probably a nice break for him. Probably reading the comments and laughing at all the speculation.
