My son went to school in Baltimore and loved the city. For two years, he worked with Baltimore's No Boundries Coalition and produced their annual report. I am so proud to see Baltimore turning around.

When he talks of gang colors it made me think of: I got arrested for tying my shoe while wearing a gray colored bandana on my head in the summer for perspiration. The cops said that I might be in a gang because of the bandana. I said "I heard of blue crips and red bloods but who the hell are the grays? Am I in an alien gang vs the green martians?" All you have to do is question authority and their flawed logic falls right apart. I bent over to tie my shoe at the same moment a cop car drove by. The cops hopped up looking for trouble that's not there assumed I was ducking them by going behind a truck. They used the truck to say I was braking into it to search me. They had no good reason to harass me just fake claims. I makes me rethink what color bandana I should wear and where…were gang violence never informed my dress code. P.S. if you want to join The Grays we are holding open auditions if you can tie your shoes and get away with it infant of the cops.
