Back to the Future was a massive surprise hit in 1985. So much so that the studio had no choice but to make a few more – and to work with the open-ended final scene they set themselves up with in the first one.

Back to the Future Part III does raise some questions. Like why doesn’t the Doc just leave town or pay Mad Dog the money? Why did the doc build another time machine? Was Jennifer really unconscious for two whole movies?

To answer all these questions and more, step inside Ryan George’s Pitch Meeting for Back to the Future Part III!

Tombstone, Arizona has a cemetery that does exactly that. You should google it, some of them are hilarious. I realize that sounds bad but i believe they make money on tourism just to see the cemetery.

Assuming Marty's parents were born in the late 1930s (they were seniors in high school in 1955), he likely met his paternal (the McFlys) great-grandparents in 1885. So why would Marty's mother (who came from a completely different family tree) resemble his father's grandmother?

Technically they can't use the Delorean because it would cause a time paradox. But technically they don't really care about time paradoxes. But technically they could use the Delorean then just send the Delorean back once Marty's in his own time. Or technically we could also get of his back on that one.

1:57 First of all, that’s the DeLorean that Doc left behind for Marty to use in 1955, so if they took it and used it, it wouldn’t be around for Marty in 1955 to go back to 1885, creating a time paradox.

But even if that wasn’t the case, Doc’s letter said the lightning bolt destroyed the time circuits, so there’d be no use in trying anyway.

The kid pointing at his crotch was trying to tell the director that he had to pee. Nobody noticed that it was visible in the footage until after they had moved on to the next scene, and despite that, it was still the best take they had of that shot, so they used it.

I'm surprised this didn't bring up how completely unnecessary it was for Marty to go back and warn Older Doc. If the Younger Doc from 1955 already knows that he gets shot by Buford Tannen, then that means Older Doc should now know as well.

It would be funny if this random YouTube video connects the bridges for theoretical scientists to achieve time travel by incorporating the traveler’s dna and following the ancestral line or something

I have always loved that by having Lea Thompson and Michael j fox both play great great grand parents on his dads side made it look like Marty's parents must have been second cousins.

The Delorean actually did go 88mph when it was struck by lightning. The swirled tire trails are the evidence. The lightning caused it to spin wildly on its axis, pushing the flux capacitor past 88mph.

This one fell a little short.
Marty took the idea of the cast iron oven door from A Fistful of Dollars, he didn’t want to shoot biff, because Marty is a real man who doesn’t need the phallic symbol of a gun to counteract insecurity.
Buford didn’t shoot Marty anywhere but his torso because the torso is the largest part of our bodies ergo makes it the most sensible place to shoot someone.
Also, in the old west they would put little poems or descriptions about how a person died occasionally.
Doc didn’t pay Buford the $80 because he didn’t owe it to him and giving in to a bully is stupid and pointless.
Doc didn’t know Marty would be at the site when he arrived on the time travel train, it just happened.
Sorry but this pitch meeting is a weak one
