Another fun character, and a good sport. His respect for the original drummer was obvious, and he did a great job in his own right. Fantastic video, keep 'em coming.

If you have such a large YouTube channel, you should know who's playing drums in this Jinjer video.

    Vladislav Ulasevish, or simply Vlad.

Aside from that, this song is one of Jinjer's more "ordinary" tracks. Thanks for your effort, and please give this world-class drummer and the whole band more recognition!
Warm greetings from the German musician

I didn't know Brooks before, but man is he my kind of drummer. Not only is he tight as hell, but he is very versatile (I caught those be-bop rides here and there) and really inspired. Loved it, and this will make me go and check out his own material.

I love how his personal vibe is like the polar opposite of someone like Tosh, but he's capable of producing the exact same sort of hard rock prog drumming sound (to my ear, anyway). Cool to see. 🙂

Never before understood how good the drumpart at chorus is. Like the straight groove he is doing here is just … well, boring. It's easy for me to say having heard the song and not in a million years could I come up with anything that cool, just goes to show how unappreciated some parts may go.

To Brooks's honor, he did do some awesome stuff in the mellow parts.

This is one of the first one of these I've seen where I didn't think the improved part fitted, but I'm not sure if that because I know this song so well. Was still a great effort though!

Odd choice to first give the album version to cover and then do the reveal with the live session – which would have been the much more refined and pleasant version to work with in the first place.

I very much respect that Drumeo played him the studio version of the song but it think it's obvious that most of us here are familiar with that live playthrough where it's Vlad playing. I honestly had never heard the studio/album version before and you could tell that Vlad's part, at least in my opinion, is quite a bit different and I think cleaner, tighter and overall….better. I wish they would've just played that live session version for Brooks. I think he would've enjoyed that more.
