I seriously just realized the social service Josh is doing with these. These long form dissections of weekly news items have changed the “news cycle” in my brain. Things don’t just flash by bc I’m going to spend an hour with Josh making sense of non-sense. Plus I go back and rewatch certain ones and the specials have memorialized these things in a way that doesn’t allow us to simply forget them. I can see what writing this was like: Josh went from the joke about trying to un-associate Trump from Epstein was like un-associating peanut buttery from jelly, and then had to circle back and spend an hour establishing the food connection to a non-PBJ country.

I went backpacking in Australia and it was one of the best years of my life. I chopped broccoli in the granite belt, Queensland. One of the hardest jobs I've ever had and earned just enough money to get outta there. The kangaroo s were dangerous. 💙
