Atoms As Big As Mountains — Neutron Stars Explained
Neutron Stars are some of the strangest things in the Universe. Not quite massive enough to become black holes they
are basically atoms as big as mountains with properties so extreme it’s mind-blowing. And if you get too close to a neutron star you are in big trouble…

2:18 No your Calculations Are Wrong it's not that massive Neutron Star's Density is 10¹⁷Kg/m³ So for 1000cm³ (Around Thor's Mjolnir) it's 10¹⁴Kg And Mount Everest is 8.1 x 10¹⁴ Kg Or Around 1 billion ton As you Said. So it's Equal to 8 Mjolnirs(Or Around 10). My Guess you most probably put 0.1 m And mistook it for 1 cm instead of 10 cm

Just know that I’m not just complimenting this video, but this whole channel. Well, because I can’t comment on this whole channel.
OK, anyway, I love this channel so much that I literally watch a couple of videos daily. And, before I was born, my dad, liked this channel too. Please make more videos because I like them so much. Sometimes I repeat videos, because they’re pretty interesting like, for example, the strange matter one. i’m pretty interested in space videos, and I’m planning on being a rocket scientist.

What if there was a Neutron Star instead of a Supermassive Black Hole in a galaxy somewhere in the universe?

"Atoms as big as mountains." That concept is hard to imagine, just by reading it. it is like imagining, that as big as an ostrich egg it is, it contains only ONE cell. When I was ten years old, I learned that and it seemed to almost break my brain because every education source had led me to believe that all types of cells were microscopic. Ach!
I've learned about neutron stars and pulsars in school and by reading science articles. But, this is the clearest it has ever been explained. Both in words conceptual art. As usual, with your channel, the imagery makes a difference. Proof I am a visual learner. Thank you for being so clear.
Also, the simplicity of the art (as if drawn by a child), seems to add entertainment. Sometimes, I even find humor you seem to manage to easter egg in there.

Can any one explain to me how is the star becomes heavier?! Because matter doesnt created from nothing insidenthe star . Its just the same atom re arrange them selfs to a change from one element to different element .

I think it would be fun for an advanced civilization to just toss random things at a neutron star, waiting for it to turn black. Whoever's turn it was, loses.
