id say a machete halfway through your leg and pulling it out is way more fatal than a fish spear through your stomach.. i could be wrong but i think they kinda got it all mixed up

The choreography is great, I mean, look who they hired, so no surprise there, but MAPPA has a huge issue with making everything look too pristine. Darker Than Black, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Ghost in The Shell, compare those to this. The characters almost look like they don't even fit the background sometimes. Lazarus in the style of those old anime.. Man.

This guy one sidedly and stealthily took on a whole squad of highly trained special ops soldiers in full gear with a piece of string attached to a knife, suddenly switches from a more silent assassination to a full bore public spectacle on a freeway with guns and explosives and he still didn't manage to unalive his target. Hope the two guys that paid millions to hire him saved the receipt…
Also, how the F did the assassin guy just teleport somehow right into the cabin of that random boat that was passing by. That part in particular just felt like it made no sense whatsoever.

I mean it’s animated well but the actual fighting is like a quarter of this scene.

If I had a nickel for every time Axel was hanging from something struggling with one hand and reaching but failing with the second I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice

I know its anime, but since its aiming to be somewhat based in realism, the fight choreography and direction makes no sense. Double jumps? Throwing knives that dont care about wind or speed? Falling a couple hundred feet into water and being fine? Dude teleports to a boat on the water? Stuff like that is jarring.
