Kendrick Lamar is set to perform with potentially SZA and maybe even more top artists.

The bit at 30:23 just reminded me of how many North American Idioms are sports related/adjacent.
"Below the belt," "hit a foul," "three strikes," "fumbled/dropped the ball," "it's a gongshow," "on the rebound," "benchwarmer," "bat boy," etc.

As a scientist…we usually do a slight jig after discovering something really cool. You can't really celebrate too hard though because scientific data will always be questioned and examined for a very long time afterwards whereas once a ref calls a touchdown legitimate, it's a done deal. Plus people will remember it a lot more than some scentific discovery so they're allowed to be more of a ham anyway.
