I'm glad I stumbled across this channel a few months ago. I enjoy getting to hear about the news from many different perspectives when I can , and as a white non-native American I think it's a shame to not know about the people the land I call home should belong to. I'm an avid hiker and love nature, one of the things I really respect and admire in native culture is the dedication and stewardship of the land and I enjoy hearing about ways that responsibility to the land is carried into the present day ❤️🌿 In times like these especially I see the US as a country in need of healing and seeing how Indian community programs and movements have been uplifting the people and healing the culture gives me hope that at some point in my lifetime I may find a strong community and see healing in my people as well
