Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd went through a lot of pre-production issues, but it finally got made. How did the pitch meeting go that led to this tiny Marvel hero getting his own film?
What’s up with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) playing so many games when the fate of the world is in the balance? Why does Hope fall in love with Scott? Why does Scott end up rejecting everything he learns and fighting with Captain America and other Avengers in Civil War? Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Isaac Asimov novelized the movie Fantastic Voyage and explained how trying to shrink molecules is impossible because of the heat generation from molecules being compressed. He used a hyperspace mcguffin to make the novel make sense…

It's probably super weird, and I know if Ryan sees this, he's likely thinking it's super weird too…but as a fellow Canadian, Ryan George is actually the only celebrity ("celebrity"?) that I wish I had a random chance sighting of in the streets. Dude is legendary, and provided he's not with his family at the time, I would hope he's okay with me coming up to him to say hello, shake his hand, take a quick picture, and then let him on his way with me wishing him all the happiness and success in the world. He's genuinely brought me many hours of joy and pulled me out of some difficult times with his channels and videos.

The "rule of cool" frustrates me so much. Is something really that "cool" if it violates the rules you set up in the initial world building? What's cool to me is when a premise is set up and followed through its logical conclusion. I don't see what's so exciting about some nonsensical set piece.

This comment will drive further engagement in the algorithm. Anime Trump elects Biden to find a Hunter to watch The View. Woke chud man babies with a boomer Karen rizzing my dude. TikTok baby.

Your fan base is reflective of the art. We all as people have positive and negative qualities, but I don’t feel like your comedy is mean-spirited or divisive. So I would take some credit for bringing out the better side of people. That IS rare and it’s something to celebrate!

Ryan, I love you. But I’m not sure we could hang out together – and this isn’t me trolling you, this is just me being honest about myself, this is one of those it’s not you it’s me situations, kay? Mkay. Well, see, we couldn’t hang out because I watch a lot of movies and I don’t want you making the observations before I do. I’m sorry but we just can’t be friends so please stop asking me.

You mentioned Edgar Wright, but completely ignored one of the UK's most talented writers Joe Cornish, who wrote and directed the Sci-Fi comedy movie Attack The Block that introduced John Boyega to the world! Joe and Edgar have been collaborators for years on various projects and Joe Cornish started his career on the legendary Adam and Joe Show for Channel 4 Television with Adam Buxton (they did a podcast series together as well), which I highly recommend you watch.

If the end is Ryan "not playing a character" he is ENHANCING the illusion by showing us his real self haha. Like, by default, I assumed that seeing him talk candidly would have a much bigger gap from the characters he plays than this

Screenwriter guy: optimistic naive, words are hard, awkward donut
Producer guy: cautious yet reckless, money money money, awkward donut.
Ryan George: film knowledge maxed, clever about comedy, awkward donut.
    Love em all <3
