Ant-Man and the Wasp is Marvel’s first film to come out after the insanity that was Avengers: Infinity War just a few months ago. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena and Michael Douglas provide us with some pretty hilarious moments and action scenes in this sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man… just don’t think about it too much. The quantum realm is the latest plot tool that Marvel is throwing our way after the magical Vibranium in Black Panther and the millions of timelines in Infinity War. How did this movie come to be exactly? Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all. It’s super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Please check back in several years from now for the "Ant-Man and the Wasp Revisit REVISIT", in which I'll reminisce about how my mic started to crap out on me while shooting this video.

I hate to be one of those guys, but if I ever see you I will be yelling one of your catch phrases at you. (My adult sons and I say them to each other all the time).
So, if you ever come to Texas, you have been warned. lol

I, for one, agree with you on the "punching bags". However, I'm getting old and the older I get the less I care about the fight scenes in any movie.

That makes me want a movie where the hero has powers but they cant use them for the entire movie for reasons that arent "they were taken away" so you get to see someone whos used to using their powers for everything be forced to not use them and struggle with little things like a normal person. Bonus points if we never see what their powers even are till the very end MAYBE or not at all.

I guess thats kinda what handcock is about for a few minutes.

That would be a good premise for a black bolt movie because his power is WAY too destructive. He needs to fight the mob or something but he cant just blast them or he'd destroy an entire city.
Kinda like when you try to catch a low level Pokemon with a level 100 legendary, you arent allowed to use any of your moves or they're dead so you have to get creative

Question: Hey, Ryan, do you and your friends ever respond to each others’ questions with “Hey, shut up!”? I’ve introduced several people to your comedy, and now two friends at work and I regularly greet each other with “Hey, shut up!” I’ve been known to stick Post-It Notes on one friend’s computer screen with “Hey . . . “ on one side and “. . . shut up!” on the other. 😅

    Thanks for brightening our workday!

Ryan, when you say hey, that sounds like a great movie lets do that, adding weight to hero movies would be awesome!
Wolverine and sabertooth fighting in all the wars together, the japanese and american pilot survival on kong island

The Walton Groggins crew was such a waste… I think Marvel was so focused on sticking the landing in Endgame they forgot to keep setting up for future MCU movies. Imagine if Groggins worked for a potential future bad guy… He could've been the middle man for the Ten Rings or hired by Valentina…

quantumania was like a quick detour from what should have been the actual storytelling continuation. Quantumania ressemblait à un détour rapide par rapport à ce qui aurait dû être la véritable continuation de l'histoire.

Two of the best Marvel movies, Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, had absolutely zero punching bags, and it really showed in the quality of the films. Literally, every punch and action piece in both of those movies had lots of consequences–personal and social–and by the end of the movie the audience actually feels bad for every punch thrown.

I wish we had gotten more of that kind of storytelling before everything fell apart.
