New Subscriber and just recently found out you are my Third Cousin and I'm also from the Petoskey Michigan area. I also only adopt Dogs from Animal Shelters as well. I wish you luck with your Love of Animals and also luck with your Acting Carreer.

I love your content and was so happy to see this one! I have 2 rescue pups, and my only wish is that I could add several more. All dogs are wonderful, of course, but getting them out of a shelter is especially meaningful, for both you and your new dog (or cat). If you cannot adopt directly from a shelter, take a look in your area for no-kill rescue organizations, as a lot of times they take dogs off the e-list from shelters. Either way you're saving lives!

We got our Husky from there last August! She's been a great dog for us. We named her Dusty.

If every system was working, and we fixed our problems as a society, I would support peta. It's hard to care about random animals with 8-14 year lifespans when every single thing in our society is broken
Maybe if we fixed the other problems, mistreatment of animals would no longer be an issue

Fuck PETA. Their record of animal welfare is horrendous and you should be ashamed for partnering with them. This specific shelter MAY do good and you may have a positive experience with it, but PETA as an organization is absolutely reprehensible.

Well, PETA has a leftist isIamist tilt so I wouldn’t blindly trust what they have to say. Never heard them speak for the millions of goat lives affected during the upcoming lsIamic festivaI of eid. That’s just one example. Also, if you REALLY feel for animals, turn to vegan/vegetarian food. I dont see any country in the world except for India where the majority population are vegetarian. Sorry for the long comment but I’ve just had too much of human hypocrisy
